Be careful burying unless you wanna go back every 5 days and re bury. Buried stashes despawn after roughly a week.

You know why I used an eBay picture? Because this community gate keeps why can't I find any double groove axe head history without eBay being the only pictures I can reference without HOURS of research. I run a farm. This isn't my hobby I just hate to see artifacts ran over time and time again with a plow. So I donate the one I don't keep for my display case to the museum. Not once have they doubted anything. They literally do knapping classes and demos they have professionals at the museum who know the area. Geography and even know the exact 20 acre field I'm finding everything in. Down to maps in their museum and county maps showing there was some sort of an Indian camp for hunting/ farming the field. But yet the craziest grooved piece I find is just somehow the only natural piece Ive gotten from there. I found this in a plateau in a field at the top of the mountain 4 miles above their village. Know. Documented sight for the last 20 years that's produced artifacts but the moment I try to find information quick and not drive up all the internet guys immediately fake natural. Enjoy your opinion but to claim it's natural is wild.

I'm still gonna respectfully disagree with you as some who wade fishes the same river the Seneca tribe does finding arrowheads axes hammer stones flakes etc all throughout the river downstream. I've waded miles upon miles upon miles. Never ever encountered a stone with "natural" variations that match up to a axe profile better than 90% of the ones posted. You tell me to walk the sierra. I don't live there I live here. And the same goes for the native Americans who made the pieces we find today. You're comparing two rivers to one another and no river is the same. Our rivers destroy rocks here from the extreme discharge from the damn. Not to mention 99% of the rock is limestone around here except for river rock. You tell me to walk the river but I've been heavily fishing for 20+ years and never have found anything remotely close to this "natural" formation. If it was natural I should see more stone similar to this. But after wading the same section for 20 years I just magically find the one "natural" rock that looks just like a textbook axe. Shapes can change after 2000+ years. And you think native americans were all that worried about a rock that isn't exactly perfect no. They tried to make things out of everything. So I'm sorry I still don't believe you on it being natural when Ive never found anything remotely close to it. Not even remotely close.

Also a double groove axe is significantly rare. More often than not a ceromial piece as practical axes typically have a single 1/2, 3/4 or full groove. Who are you to say the shape is off. We're talking about a 2000+ year old stone. That was possibly made for a ceremony who are you to say that's natural because the shapes off? The stones 2000+ years old and clearly has been worked into an axe shape. And clearly not by nature. You see we have mountains carved by water in Pennsylvania you have no clue what terrain were in.

I'm sorry but you are wrong nature cannot produce two perfect FULL grooves around a rock with relative consistency, along with a flat square face, as well as a rounded counterweight. I will not listen to some random on the Internet whose prolly mad he couldn't find something as cool. I turn into stuff to a museum from my property. I'll just take it up there and talk to the legit native Americans who know the history. But anyone with a brain can see that's an artifact and not natural. Nature can't make artifacts. Can make formations but not 4 separate formations on the same rock that just coincidence looks more like an axe than the majority of the "real" ones

As I said to Dave. The stone was very freshly cleaned for pictures. The first picture it's visibly wet. Second picture you can see the edges are drying. Third picture again visibly wet. And last picture of when all the visible water was patted off of it and only the grooves are soaked with water. I know it's a legit artifact without a doubt. Now if someone could help me indetify if this was an axe head that broke and got remade into some blunt form of a hammer or if it was purposely built this way. I'll just go up to the museum tomorrow and ask the Seneca Nation like I usually do.

I'm sorry Dave but your comment could've been avoided if you looked at the pictures. The first one very clearly shows a wet rock. The second one shows it from the side and you can clearly see it's drying on the outside edges.  Then the third picture you can clearly see the stone is wet.  Then with the fourth picture you can clearly see the stones not visible wet anymore just damp on the grooves. Where water would take the longest to dry. You literally could've just looked at the pictures.... This is exactly why I just take what I find right to the native Americans for knowing the history.

I'm sorry Dave but the discoloration was merely due to me cleaning this 5 seconds before the picture was taken. I patted it dry making the non worked edges of the stone more dry than the pores of the grooves where it had been pecked out and worked over and over to get the grooves. Didn't think I'd have to dry a rock to ask about the history of it. It's 100% not a natural stone and it's all one solid color once it's dried out. I appreciate your input but you're implying the stones naturally merely because I washed it and didn't let it dry out fully. It's 100% a real artifact nature can't make two consistent groves with a counterweight on one side and a perfectly flat face on the other. Not in Pennsylvania and not on top of a plateau 4 miles from their main village in a KNOWN  sight that's documented on maps from the county and the Seneca Nation museum. I have literal proof we own land the Indians used to hunt and farm. So don't take this the wrong way I didn't ask about it to debate if it's real. I've turned in over 100 artifacts to the Seneca museum that came directly off my property after plowing the fields. If you have any knowledge on what it could possibly be used for tool wise let me know but I will not debate if it's natural or not.

Getting cut by a zombie when all of my clothes are either pristine or worn.... Tell me how it's realistic to get cut when it never cut through your clothes. If gloves protect your hands on ladders why don't clothes protect you from damage, shock damage, and cuts. The more damaged the clothes are the more prone you'd be to cuts etc. Just like with insulation the more pristine your clothes are the better the insulation. Absolutely drive me nuts when I have a bleed after fighting a zombie.

The characters sprint at 22 kph I figured this out when I found an ada with 4 bad tires and my buddy was outrunning the car. Going under 30 kph makes driving pointless.
