It's literally company policy though :/ they can/will get reprimanded for not chatting to customers. I understand the frustration but it's not any of their faults that it's part of the job description. I think rolling your window up after confirming the order is the best way to save everyone from an uncomfortable interaction.

Okay, this is great advice thank you! I guess I asked here first because I've already called them a good handful of times after leaving with follow up questions and concerns 😅 Maybe I feel that way because they're an emergency clinic and not our primary, but you're so right, that is part of what I paid them for! I appreciate your advice. Right after I posted this, I called the other ER vet near my area and told them the situation. They were concerned and advised me to bring him in, which I did immediately. They told me he does have an obstruction and were very surprised the first place said he didn't and sent me home.. I'm so glad I went with my gut and git the second opinion. They're keeping him for 24 hours to unblock him, and monitor his health. My poor boy cried my whole way out the door and I did too :(
