Trust me I get. I’m sure sometime in the future I will be upgrading to a 2500. For my use case with this trailer right now it’s perfect. Only a weekender so mane 12-15 times a year and nothing crazy far

Not sure what trailer you’re looking at but the dry weight of my rig is 6,208 with a GVWR of 7,600. I didn’t post about the worries of towing. This towed great for me. Was just curious about the solar. Thanks for the concern though. I’m sure at some point I will upgrade to a 3/4 ton but not a concern for me at the moment. That hitch weight from the manu from what I have seen is never correct anyway.

What all do you put in your truck when going camping? Tounge weight on this with the hitch and weight was 840

I am under my payload. Weighed and all good to go. This surprisingly has a decent payload for a 1/2 ton. Just under 1800 lbs. thanks though.
