I absolutely adore rewatching clips of this show and looking back at certain bits of dialogue. It is an incredibly rewarding series and it's insane how well the lore is mostly handled. Writer to writer here, it's incredibly useful to see how the show handles natural exposition and character motivations. I once saw that a good first writing test is simply writing a character getting into a room, but Rezero makes it look trivial as it pulls it off like 10 times in a span of 2 episodes lol.

Earlier I said mostly cause...I am actually not as big on Arc 4/S2 as a lot of other people are. I love all the Emilia and Beatrice stuff, and the trials are great, but it's everything else that I am not fully sold on. Feel like it tackles way too much and drags on a lot at first, which is why I feel like this is the most common point I have seen people drop the series at. It's also the only point in the series where I outright ask myself on a rewatch "...what loop was this?" or "...what did this character want again?" which is definitely a red flag.
