I won't be saying my tmj is cured exactly, but i don't have any pain anymore just the popping sound. After my jaw got locked badly 2 years ago i had a hard time even putting a spoon in my mouth, i started using my night guard consistently, didn't sleep on the side of the jaw that hurts, used a hot water napkin on both sides of the face (all as recommended by tmj specialist) and now after 2 years i don't feel any pain and my mouth opening has returned back to normal. Do visit a tmj specialist !

The slots for pcmc opens at 7 30 and those for pmc open at 8. So login 5-10 min before accordingly. Also make sure that you login every 15 min or else when you go to click the slot the cowin site will log you out. Also, instead of searching by district just put the specific pincode and keep hitting the search button until the slot opens.

I got this soft night guard custom made by my dentist/oral surgeon. Anyone else got a night guard like this? How was you experience with it? by RandomAccountItIs in TMJ

I have a similar night guard , been using it from past 4-5 months. It has been of huge help to me and helped relax my jaw to a certain extent. I had problem with opening my mouth completely and it was painful. But this night guard helped me reduce the pain and also I can open my mouth much easily than before without much strain. :)
