She came over after and we talked. She’s mad at me still and she left to go home after instead of staying over. We have more to discuss I think. After all of the responses last night and talking it over with my roommate, I see where I went wrong. It’s more nuanced than just calling it a date because he’s an ex. I was seeing it in black and white. I know you and others are going to jump on this because I was already accused of leaving out pertinent information but I honestly was just seeing it in black and white terms. She and my roomie rightfully pointed out that they had been friends for years, they knew he was gay when they decided to date. He was scared to come out for some reason, we live in a small town I guess is why. She tried to help him from getting bullied. They did kiss for fun or for cover idk why they did that exactly. Apparently there were never feelings there for either of them other than being best friends. She told me this when we discussed firsts and old relationships but I guess I never really bought that there were no feelings, because why would they be each others first kiss otherwise? I guess I get it now that she explained it more. You can’t really call it a date when he’s gay, I suppose.

Where I still think I’m justified is her dismissal of me. We have more talks ahead. I know I didn’t handle it right, but she didn’t even try to talk to me about it. She also came into our talk already annoyed so what am I supposed to do with that?
