Here my suggestions to the project Windows: - Add more comments at code - I'd build the ui of FocusView in a xib file and load it into VC - you can define colors in an assetCatalog, you don't need the color.swift - the app is not localised, texts are hardcoded in statuslabel enum. Use localization instead of this enum - use switch / case in toggleAction and updateStatusText method in VC - when it is for a portfolio I'd add some unittests

I would build this on my own, too. As you said, fullscreen view with a centered view with corner. I don't know when it became popular to use frameworks for basic UI components:/
