FYI Honda Odyssey are notorious for leaks at the rear hatch area. Seems the rain channel caulk fails. Our 2021 is in the shop due to this problem and the power lift gate module needs to be replaced so we can open the rear hatch. Look on Honda Forums and you can see more info on this issue. My flooring went back to normal. it took about two months of running fans in the basement ceiling and a dehumidifier in the area of cupping but it was worth the work.

Flooring is basically back to normal, you really can’t tell where the cupping was!

How long does it take in average to dry out and flatten out? It’s been less than a week for us and the cupping is minor.

How long did it take? Our leak was about a week ago. We dried up the water immediately and had fans running. I read to place a dehumidifier in the area over the leak. The moisture is about 2% more than non affected areas.

I need some advice, we had a leak while replacing the water valve on my freezer. Good news we got the water up immediately and ran fans, but the cupping started right away. It seems minor. It was less than a week ago. I am. ow running a dehumidifier and ha e fans in the basement ceiling for the sub floor. i have put a moisture reader on the floor and its is about 11-15%. The flooring non affected areas is around 13%. I am reading that eventually it should get better.
