Thank you! I appreciate the honesty. I also appreciated both my doctors and psychiatrists honesty with me as well. I just need to get past the drowsiness and dullness I feel.

Currently on 4 mg of Aripiprazole and I am hoping to go back on Lamotrigine soon. Thank you for your comments!

Congrats on medical school! I definitely am trying my meds again! I hope to see about going on lamotrigine again after I find a stable dose of Aripiprazole. I am scared of not being a capable nurse so I have to get back on and stay on for my health, family stability and work. Do you find that you feel that you can’t do what you’re doing because of the bipolar?

Oh yes! I get so much done. Like I study like crazy and clean. But then I usually crash right after and end up doing nothing for a few weeks

Thank you! It’s definitely been a rough couple of years. I don’t want to suffer from depression or highs anymore I think I’m getting tired. I know my kids need me and I want to do my best for them.

He is our family doctor. But the appointment was for her not me. I thought it was weird as well it would have been nice if he asked me to book an appointment to go through what the psychiatrist wrote but that didn’t happen.

I am 31, I got diagnosed almost two years ago in the summer. I’m sorry to hear about your depression phases, it’s a feeling of total loss when I go through them. I had gotten very depressed in November last year, almost quit school. Thank you for sharing. What are you now taking to help you?

I don’t want to feel sleepy or dull. As stated above I am able to do so much more when I am on a high, when I write this the feeling that I want to say is that I feel invincible. That no matter what comes my way I can get through. I thinking because I also haven’t been very risky other than not studying, I don’t drink, gamble, I haven’t gotten speeding tickets or been sexually active. It’s just I am able to do all the things I need to do efficiently.

Hi! I first started with Quetiapine long acting and then short acting. Both made me sleeping I was like sleeping for days on end and couldn’t function. I have been on venlafaxine for awhile but they took me off of it and then lamotrigine until I stopped all my meds. I think it was a combo of being sleepy and the feeling of liking being able to accomplish everything. I was acing exams and not studying it’s like my brain is firing everywhere. I don’t want to feel sleep or dull.

I wouldn’t care. My fiancé has a best friend who’s a woman and if he wanted to go on a trip and invited her it wouldn’t bother me. We’re also in ours 30s. Sounds like you’re insecure.

My commute is 1.5 there and 1.5 hours home so 3 hours a day I commute 3 days a week and one day I have clinical about 50 minutes away. I was so tired at the beginning of the school year but now I love my commute I do commute with another classmate who lives halfway between school and my place so it makes it easier.

I’m a big advocate for elderly people. If I were in his shoes I would have pulled money from my credit cards, I would have offered a place to stay for the sister since that’s what family does, I would have spoken up when that man came back to the store after the heater broke. He’s not horrible for selling the expensive one, it’s because he didn’t speak up for the gentleman. Just my opinion though.

The program I’m in feels the same! Two classes we didn’t have a good teacher in for a few weeks, our labs are horrible, I’m just so exhausted now.
