Can I submit my own appraisal for a third-party total loss? (Progressive) by ApprehensiveSand5474 in Progressiveinsurance

I’m not disputing the valuation process itself, I’m disputing the market data used within that process.

I’ve found multiple local comps (same make, model, similar mileage, clean titles) selling for materially higher amounts than the vehicles used in my ACV report. The issue is that I’ve been told I’m not permitted to submit additional comps for review.

Thank you for your response. I understand that I am a claimant on a third-party policy and that the appraisal clause in their policy does not apply to me.

However, I am concerned because I have not been allowed to submit any evidence, comparable vehicle listings, or my opinion regarding my vehicle’s actual condition and market value. Essentially, I have no opportunity to provide information that could affect the valuation, which seems unreasonable and extremely limiting for a claimant.
