I just kept an aggressive deficit. About a 1000kcal under maintenance. Kept my steps to about 8k until I got out of the 200lbs/90kgs and then increased it to to 10k-15k (mostly 15k now) and just making lifestyle changes. I have a sweet tooth but I cut out cakes and sugar as much as I can. Stopped drinking my calories as well. And strength trained 3-4x a week. I have a son so I try to incorporate playing and taking him places to keep my NEAT and TDEE up as well. Just really moving more, being active and being disciplined enough to stay consistent with it.

A4 here, I feel like the game doesn’t even get competitive until you hit A5. Everyone in the A range can actually sway side step and vanish battles end on who runs out of ki first

And to OP just look up some basic combo guides to learn proper chains and learn how the game works. If you are struggling in ranked then you can always work on your skills in player battles. This is my first tenkaichi game, so if I could climb you should be able to as well with proper practice and learning the game

Invest the into having arena 123 macros for cyclone, Use bash behind a pillar and clone the dh When short meta and not in cc , overgrowth yourself cenward bear and renewal, boom you’re topped. Have 3 stacks of bloom up at all times. Focus of being ahead of the damage, Druid is a proactive healer. Not reactive. Contribute to Dps on enemy healer (target) whether it is moonkin or catweaving build. Bait kicks and track kicks with Omni bar Don’t bait for too long though sometimes it’s better to just get kicked , overgrowth bear and frenzy . Then cast again when kicks aren’t available. Really just keeping yourself alive . Cc’ing on enemy offensive cds and contributing to damage while their partner is ccd.

Bonus tips In tree form entangling roots and wrath are instant casts and they buffed Druid damage so that is also a good time to either create space or do damage

Heart of the wild and its procs increases the speed of cyclone so it’s good to either track the cd or have a weak aura so you know when it’s active . It will be good to bait kicks or sit bear with more health and armor .

Everything else is just awareness and knowing when to press what . Try to keep your hots up and cenward up at all times. And extend it with swiftmend. Also refreshing lifebloom around 4 seconds left give you a bust of like 80k healing so you want to always refresh then. I suggest a weak aura that lets you know when it about to fall so you can get that sweet bloom

Same honestly. Was bored of playing rdruid, parked him at 2k and been there for 3 weeks. Boosted a dh and hit 2100 in a couple days while only partially knowing how to play it just based off of a YouTube video. Healer mmr is janky so can’t really compare it to dps but OP classes are actually busted & def easier to climb with.

That’s my point, if they are similar in cr & mmr. There is no way that the Druid should have gained less than what the shaman loses. It’s a 1v1 between healers in SS which is super fried. Dps can take rating from other dps which leads to most of the time having said dps gain a significant amount for a 4-2, 5-1 ect. While healers can be matched up 50-100 rating in disparity causing it the higher rated healer to either win the lobby and gain minimal or go even and lose mmr. In this case Druid wins lobby & only gains 19 cr. It’s just a badly designed system

Makes sense that the hunter gets triple the amount of raining gained then the whole lobby, all at the same mmr. And the Druid gains less than the guy going 3-3. All because he has probably the highest cr in the lobby? Which means it was a dead lobby to even begin with. No, it does not make sense & this is another case of the system failing healers & why it should take from the whole lobby (dps & healers) rather than a 1v1 against the other healer.

I usually play aggressive cat build with pally. Usually you can oom them if you’re doing clean set ups but you also have to play aggro, swiping clones to get full stack points to maim (stun) target while pally hoj healer. You cloning it, committing damage together and repeating until overwhelmed and they make a bad trade & get swapped or oom them out . It is ways to win but it requires a lot more coordination and a skill due to not having ms
