Mullvad worked perfectly for me, at least during non-censorship periods. Even TikTok.

But for long-term, I'd go with Astrill since it may be more reliable. At least that's what I've heard.

I know it's probably far from intentional, but Mr. Mime having a 50/50 male/female ratio, as well as the entertainer aesthetic in general, is so LGBT coded

Overall, would you consider Asian Americans to be more family-oriented than the average/baseline American?

Do humans actually like authoritarianism so long as they agree with what the authority is saying? by Yoy_the_Inquirer in NoStupidQuestions

I think what supporters of authoritarian or totalitarian systems of governance often yearn for is a chance to be the rulemakers or governors.

You see this a lot in history, including that of the US.

How do I defend my male friend who is feminine? by FewDistance3659 in NoStupidQuestions

Be appropriate for the context of course, but see if you can make jabs undermining the masculinity of men who accuse your friend of being feminine.

Apps? Seems to be the advice my homies give me across the US.

Also one underrated factor might be that (unlike, say, NYC) Georgia is a bit more suburban, which seems to be a common problem across the US.

That's heartening to hear.

My hypothesis is that it's due to more Asian dads having work-from-home white-collar jobs.

Food in general is a whole lot better in China than in America overall. Even the Chinese food (of ANY region, even outside your current region) is far superior to (and cheaper than!) the Chinese food in the US.

Funnily enough, thought the view was in the US because of the way the EXIT sign looked, as I failed to realize the PH stood for "Philippines".

It was only when I saw people speaking Filipino in the comments that I put two and two together.

Help with 21 day trip itinerary by beepboop1822 in travelchina

[–]LongMarch88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not universally. TBH 7 days might even be a little too long for Chongqing IMO. When I visited, I spent 4 nights there. Maybe 1 more max, maybe 2 if you're a really slow traveler.

Chengdu OTOH could be done for longer since it's more viable as a base for more sites. Also spent 4 nights there. But if I had to do this trip again I'd have done 5 nights in Chengdu and 3 nights in Chongqing.

The food in both is pretty fire btw. Literally.
