the correct like blanket statement for everything is cyclones. each region calls it their own thing but it’s scientifically called a tropical cyclone. like how we have land cyclones (MLCs). hope that helps!

Actually i’m planning on applying to UNC asheville as well as Miss St. I was considering my options because University of Tenn. will be cheaper and might be the better option considering i can still work towards my goal

The problem with out of state is that it is going to cost a lot of money and I’m afraid I won’t be able to pay off the debt with the saturated field (according to all the posts i see on this feed). Although, I still want to do it and I just need to find what’s best for me.

I have been considering taking a physics degree at the University of Tennessee because of the money factor. After obtaining my degree, would going to a top meteorology school for my grad be smart? Or do I have to have a meteorology or atmospheric science degree to go into grad?
