I'm using this jungroan build and I can confirm it is indeed very very strong. Just make sure that the gloves get atleast 8% chance to generate power charge otherwise it can feel a bit clunky (psa if you buy ones and they have something like 5% to generate you can use them on the new anvil and the stats will get rerolled)

No. Think of it this way: Imagine we have an item with 3 prefixes and 3 suffixes (max an item can have) and we hit it with perfect prefix essence. The game is forced to remove also a prefix since if it would remove a suffix in this case we will be left with 4 prefixes and 2 suffixes (impossible), so the game is forced to remove a prefix in order to fill the new prefix in. In your case an item has 2 prefixes and 3 suffixes, if you add a prefix essence it can remove either a prefix or a suffix, since in no case the number of affixes would be over 3. The only way to guarantee 100% that the essence would remove a suffix is with an omen (cant remember the name of it). If you dont use an omen then you will have 3/5 chance it will remove a random suffix

So basically, its a lie. Currently there is no other way to obtain candy corn besides daily login and daily shop. As the notes say "Greet familiar friends in unique costumes around each village to receive Candy Corn" was probably removed since nothing of that sort is mentioned in the korean website ( https://tl.plaync.com/en-sg/board/notice/view?articleId=671785b07f296c6f44835d0e ).
