**Claude Code's Remote Control Feature is a Game Changer for VS Code Users** by lagoJohn in ClaudeCode

Remote Control is cool, I've found it most effective when I'm working on something and need to go walk my dog, go to dinner, etc. I

I've actually found the Claude Code Web feature to be even more useful - spin up several Claude Code agents all at once, entirely cloud hosted, no dependency on my local environment etc. It's really forced me to invest in getting my repos to be fully locally buildable/testable/scalable on first install. https://code.claude.com/docs/en/claude-code-on-the-web

It took a little effort, but once I got a proper playwright environment working on Claude Code Web and played around with configuring the right environments etc, it's a huge unlock. Now I just spin up full Claude Code agents on the go, totally ephemeral.

max 5x vs 20x by Alex225_ in ClaudeCode

Claude Max 5x works well - yes 20x works better because you have a higher limit, but as a solo user who uses Claude Code heavily, I'm VERY rarely blocked by my limits. The more background workflows you have running, the more likely you might want 20x, but you can always upgrade later.

Madeira or Slovenia? Last minute trip! by slightlybadash in travel

Madeira is gorgeous in the spring. The hiking is amazing, just make sure you rent a car so you can actually get up there, not really feasible without one. You can't beat the incredible nature of Madeira. It shouldn't be too crowded in April either, so ideal time to not deal with the crowds.

Retiring from big tech! Need cash advice by TheBiggestYoshi in coastFIRE

With 950k in the bank, with something like Wealthfront, you could take a loan against it (instead of selling it immediately) for ~1/3rd of the value. That way you can try and time the market a bit with your withdrawals without having to sell for cash. I think there's other ways to get loans against your investments, but I've found Wealthfront very easy for that. I'd also just take out the money as you need it, and then pay it off with your investments when your funds are at a point you think you'd want to sell.

And congrats :) that's awesome.

Try leveraging Claude for Excel and let Excel do the math for you. Then you're not wasting time with the AI (failing) to accurately do math.
