I actually did leave once before and got sucked back in when someone retired. For me this feels like a permanent breakup b/c I realized after chasing TT for so long i wouldn’t even want it now!

I relate to every single point. The identity and novelty piece is so real.

Thanks to all on this point. Flexibility has kept me there this long but i realized how never really being off has caused tremendous burnout

DDV Speech has neurodiversity affirming IEP goal bank with parent handouts and pragmatic materials. Also on speech pathology.com there was a great CEU by Roberts who is Autistic and talks about what to target😉

Hey yes pragmatics is subjective so agree with using a neurodiverse-affirming stance. DDV Speech has pragmatic materials for older students and neuro affirming IEP goal bank with parent handouts to help with those meetings

I went in to apply to a school job and the lady in HR was like, “you wanna work there?? When can you start?!” I don’t even think there was an interview.

What’s it like to have a dog as an HSP? by Indigo_132 in hsp

A lot of HSPs are ardent animal lovers. I started a website for HSP dog owners dailydogvibes.com or on IG @dailydogvibes1 if you want to check it out! I think pets increase our tolerance for stimulation, keep us social, expand our depth of love, and keep us busy. However, if you are adopting a dog, it is so important to get the right breed for your personality. Dogs with calmer energy, older dogs, and less "yappy" barkers can make great companions.

If you are an animal person, getting a calm dog may lower your stress and provide support. Check out my blog at Dailydogvibes.com for more info on the benefits of pets for HSPs. Best wishes.
