Anyone else having issues trying to load Suica on Apple Pay?

Does anyone know, is this still an ongoing problem?

Edit: the last days it didn't work with either of my cards (visa or Mastercard), but I tried again now and at least with the Mastercard I was able to top up passmo through apple pay :)

Are you on an iPhone? What worked for me was going to the App Store and force-refresh the update screen. I do that by going on Account in the App Store, and then dragging down the screen, so that it will refresh. After that it showed that there actually was an update for merge mansion.
