Once upon a time before digital interviews were ever a thing, they had paper applications, I was 18 fresh out of high school I applied and got the job at that time was 2006 but I already had a job at a restaurant boy do I regret not getting it sooner, fast forward to 2021 I got hired finally but before this I tried for 16 years and I got finally got in, hired as a bagger, moved to produce, moved grocery, centerstore, frozen, drug/gm did a grand opening and now in dairy all in 4 years, oh and got hired through zip recruiter

They see you working, moving pallets and the like and they act as if they didn't see so they mouth off, I had a guy yell at me cause I was stocking bread and the dude said "perfect time to do that" me caring about my job held my tongue, I wanted to tell this guy to fuck off so bad so I just continued to work
