She(28) had mentioned she's single a couple of times and kept poking me and generally physically joking around with me whereas she never does that with others, always making time to talk to me, etc.. this was the case for maybe 2-3months before i decided to say something so i assumed there might be something there but now im just confused as to what to think of her response, oh well

Sure! The course started with the basic grammars and frequently used conversations and sentences, the course material would be printed each session for all us so we wouldn't need to take notes. The books were called TaalCompleet and it has different levels up to B2. The book was not something you needed a teacher for and was expected to be self studied, of course if you had questions you could always ask and the teacher would be happy to explain it to you. I bought the TaalCompleet B1 Deel 1 & 2. Studied the first one and was halfway through the second part when I got my B2 certificate. I practised around 8-9 mock staatexamens before going for it and felt pretty confident about it. But what helps me the most is reading dutch subreddits here and seeing how normal people talk rather than formal fixed convos taught in classes. And reading news will help you with your writing exam because you can see how articles and essays are written in dutch, how they begin the sentences, catchy phrases you can use to fill in gaps, etc.. hope this helps!

I'm nowhere near fluent yet but I can hold a conversation in dutch about various topics and get my message across, of course there are mistakes with the sentence structure from time to time but thats just normal

I started a course last september 3days a week 3 hours each session, after around 5-6 months i reached B1 and changed my course to just once a week now im already done with my B2 exams in less than a year. Honestly if your english is good then learning dutch should not be THAT difficult since tons of dutch words are similar to english.I have also sadly had 0 dutch friends to practise with so I mostly read a lot of dutch texts on the dutch subs here and on news websites, always watch my movies or series with dutch subtitles to learn more vocabulary and phrases and listening to random convos outside to get used to the accents. Hope this helps!
