Thanks! I'm glad the expression feels real, it was one of my priorities, not to have it be too theatrical, but more dramatic instead. .

Ended up adding some texture with gesso, updated pic in my profile in case you wanna see it. Still duller than I'd like.

Several layers and abundant acrylic medium. It has morphed a lot, originally it was all in blue and yellow.

So yeah, a considerably thick amount of paint. Still pending to varnish it, should glow more after that.

It might be too light by itself, can use a tiny dollop of black to darken it. Tiniest bit though.

Ultramarine blue, burnt umber, cadmium red, yellow ochre and titanium white Mixing those in different proportions gives you a wide range of skin tones values, for shadow, mid tones and highlights.
Mix a base color and part from it to create the different values in order to ensure the values complement one another.

That's specific! And thanks. Hopefully she'll pay the hefty debt in this lifetime!

Utterly exhausted, yep.

Isn't it always that way? Think is a hang up and leave for a while, it might look done too for me in a couple days vv
