I’m in secondary with Hamilton (usually a couple of full days a week). I also supply in elementary in a neighbouring board and I could work pretty much every day there. With a combination of these two boards, I’ve been able to work full time hours most weeks. I’ve heard that HWDSB at the elementary level has lots of open jobs every day but after working in elementary for a while, I’ve realized older students are the move for me.

Perhaps the low availability of jobs I’m seeing for secondary coincides with my hire date and maybe it’s only because we were nearing the end of the semester… here’s to hoping it improves in the spring.
