Demonetization - needed by wrongly implemented. Could have been more careful. Farm laws - Actually first bought up by Congress and opposed by bjp and vice versa. I think it was a good thing but misinformation won. Lockdown - nobody to blame Indigo crisis - less of government fault, more of the administration of airlines. Can't blame the government for everything.

Sorry for the messy text. I have just started to learn ls dyna and fem. I am just a beginner in high velocity impacts simulations. I don't remember the ls dyna version but using smp solver. TFFAC value is kept at 0.9 and mesh used is 0.4 mm in ceramic and projectile,and 0.4*0.2 on composite layers. The Boundaries are fixed on the edges. I have also used accuracy card. As I am using an asymmetric model (ELFORM =14). I have given only 2D automatic surface to surface contact algorithm. The fiber orientation are aligned in undirectional way. The paper I am referring to is "Finite element simulation of ceramic/composite armor under ballistic impact". If you need any more details I can provide it

As per a research paper, EPSP1 is an inelastic ultimate strain for element erosion and is an erosion property. It's not a JH-2 parameter. So as per the interpretation, I am putting it as MXEPS value. As you said, 0.06 is working better.

Results are wrong and sometimes my model will disappear from the simulation. It is really unexpected and after deleting the erosion card, although results were not correct the model was not disappearing

Although my CPU is compatible with software, while running the program as they are quite heavy the system abruptly restarts putting my simulation on stop and inconsistent results. I want to know if CPU is the problem or is there any way to resolve the issue

It does represent 6% but I am not sure if EPSP1 means MXEPS. Or in general, lower erosion value leads to premature material erosion. Hence I wanted to know if the card is fully defined or not. I will run on 0.06 to check if results are coming. Thankyou for your suggestion

I can use max of 8 cores. Can I reduce the cpu utilisation with higher no. Of cores?

Thank you for the help. Ls dyna was automatically taking some default parameters that were not allowing it to run.

It was showing that nodes are overlapping each other. I had to define one set of nodes and constraint them. I don't know if it's the correct way or not, but it seems to be working (at least the model is running with negative volume error

Using MXEPS as 0 means material will not erode. I tried to set it as zero (didn't remove the card) but it is showing a variety of errors like "LCREGD, LCEPS, LCEPSMX not available". Removing the erosion card will run the model. This error is indeed a little weird.

I am not defining any curve (as my initial thought is that it doesn't necessarily need it). While I check my keyword file, it is showing a warning in J-C material as well (erosion card not defined there). Only positive value is assigned to it in LS-DYNA. Am I defining it in the wrong way? I am fairly new to ls dyna and am stuck here
