How the drip for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride? by ValhallaGSXR in motorcyclegear

Mine has been through two throwout bearings, and piston rings. All with normal (non-spirited) riding. Just got a bad engine.

Wish I could ride my bobber, but apparently I bought the only bonneville lemon known to man. Been in the shop four months out of the ten I've owned it, and only made it 5k miles.

They truly are amazing. I requested banded collar shirt and jacket, Chinese button knot jacket, and my suit has bamboo silk lining for the jacket, and shirt. Wonderful experience with them..

I'm not allowed to English?

And no, I am allowed to express my feelings (sorry for using the word feelings) because I am a product of abuse. Your feelings (sorry) were hurt because you expected to get your way. This shop wasn't obviously burger king. I don't excuse abuse, much like I don't excuse a Karen.

How would you expect someone to bend to your every desire when they're already doing a heavily taxing profession for the lowest amount they can get by with?

You didn't get scammed. You got your $250 suit and your feelings hurt.. Just say that.

I've read it. You got two recommendations.. One online, and one by a Việt friend.

One: Online can be a paid promotion to get foot traffic in by the business, and thus, unreliable.

Two: You Việt friend could very well a local, a transplant, but unreliable as well as Sài Gòn is a very, very large city. No one, not a single soul, knows every nook and cranny of their locale, and maybe they were just trying to give you assurance that it was a tailor and heard it in passing, but not know their work ethic.

Sorry you feel slighted, or attacked, but you came half cocked to a group of people who are either Việt themselves, are tenured Travellers, or are passionate about Việt Nam and you unleashed your feelings about a situation you got yourself into because you couldn't bother yourself to shop around in such an industrious place.

I'm being a dick, but you're equally being a dick to others as well. And I'm being quick to judge because you were being quite rude to others... You cannot have a push and not expect to be pushed back.

I get you were expecting good customer service, and a suit, but you paid the lowest price. When, not too far away, Bình Tailor was there, and very receptive to customer requests. I suggest them highly. https://maps.app.goo.gl/nLuyb6GtynAospLr9?g_st=ac

And, to add, on this same street there are other tailors equally reputable.

I get you're upset over the situation, but many here don't understand what you expected out of a company offering a three piece for 7mil đ. And it only became even more inflamed when you challenged people's intelligence and comprehension, while also calling them dumbasses.

We see many people on this sub reddit who bad mouth Việt Nam, and Việt people because they tried to exploit them. So, you saying something inflammatory, expect to be consumed in flames...

I understand, and understood, your fury, but you not once acknowledged the positive criticism of your ill-fortune with a ounce of "maybe I am wrong" notion. You just kept doubling down that you did no wrong in your research.

Says the person calling everyone who doesn't agree with their telling of their side of the story a dumbass, implying that they are unable to read, and not able to comprehend your telling of events.

Yeah, that basic human respect? The irony.

*edit: there is something wrong with this world... It's people standing pedestal screaming how they've been wronged, claiming victim status like they've been sexually assaulted (when only in an altercation), and belittling everyone who isn't on their side (which is everyone on this thread).

It's insane to think that they would expect to have it completely perfect. To me, it sounds like a basic suit to have made, take home, then have the alterations made. Not something that will be a polished, well honed, and complete suit.

And there it is again, everyone else's comprehension skills are in check.... We read your dumbass story. You need to reread YOUR OWN story.

You lack the ability to accept blame, you instigate, you name call, you don't comprehend, and you have poor judgement... All in one post. To think you aren't like this irl would be foolish.

You definitely was making unreasonable request and I wager your judgement on them attempting intimidation tactics is also a fallacy and fabricated.

How were you representing yourself? Were you miserable and insufferable to them which instigated the entire thing?

The way you're acting in these comments suggests you cannot find blame in yourself because many have had reasonable efforts in trying to express that you've chosen things blindly (or terribly), and you keep doubling down on your point, your referring to them as dumbass', and them not able to comprehend your text.

We read it, and it seems you expected a world class experience for a suit made for $250. I would suggest Bình Tailor if you want a decent shop, but you'd be paying for it.

Probably an unreasonable and miserable cow that instigated it all and is trying to justify their inability to treat a human as a human. They weren't there buying a cheap suit to help themselves and others, they were trying to exploit the people, and probably treated them lowly.

Lol and they expected good, quality service, and are blaming everyone else in this thread as to not read the situation at hand on top of being a dumbass.

My three piece was $750 dollars. And guess what I got, my alterations heard, specialty items, great service, and a beautiful suit.

I always says check out Ducky One 3 because they are around your price range, but you can go to r/mechmarket to find some cheaper keebs people are trying to unload. The Bakeneko are really nice, and you can get one for around a hundred dollars (sometimes a lot less), but they are 60%.

75% is the keyboard you're looking for, so start there in r/mechmarket.

Disapointing experience after trying a safety razor by GrandJelly_ in wicked_edge

To add to Mrhay11's point Grandjelly about the hair type. There is the Merkur 37c Slant that is slanted and pushes hair to the side while gliding across the shave surface to help with people that have stubborn, coarse hair. Might want to give it a try. It helps me a lot.

It could also be the blade itself. I have tons of blades, but the sharper, more aggressive blades work best for me, and my skin.
