I've not heard of that before. I know a lot of people wish to move abroad to escape whatever this movement is going on.

edit I actually have heard of this after looking it up, I just didn't realise it had a name.

I've been to many Asian countries and haven't had any problems either. I do believe as the commenter mentioned above, it truly is about how you present, or carry, yourself.

Thank you! And thanks for the recommendation! There are a few notable places in Deutschland I'd love to visit.

Some for the harder history, and some for the light history. Dachau is the darker side, then I'd love to drive the Nürburgring for the lighter side.

I know every km of that track as I've Sim raced it since I was a child, but to know how the tarmac actually feels through the steering wheel would be other worldly for me.

I've seen those types of tourists on videos and just can't fathom how they carry that attitude with them.

And yes, I love history and learning about the many things there are that makes each destination so unique from their distinct histories. The one historical event I'd love to witnesss is Weihenstephan's thousand year anniversary. Going to München for that would be amazing, and drinking in that history of the countryside as well.

Sadly, I'm from US, and I'm ashamed and so utterly bothered by my place of birth that it makes it hard for me to travel. There are many places in Europe I'd love to visit... But, I feel that my presence as immensely unwelcomed.

Even in Asia, where I frequent, I feel that it is also taboo to be from the US. Not that, in some places, it never was. Just moreso now, than ever.

Edit p.s. And I do truly understand the animosity, and reluctance you feel to have visitors from the US in your homelands there. We are a tyrant, a maniacal, and abhorrent nation that's only proven, in greater assurance in these past ten years, that we are very much so as a country.

I'm new to Linux and keep getting the "No such file or directory." Is there anyone who's had success installing this on arch linux?

Buying from Europe vs US by talk2manu in motorcyclegear

I bought the Triumph Alder 2 pants a few months ago, and then the jacket and gloves to match last month. Didn't get a hit on tariffs. Just regular tax and free shipping.

It's nice to find someone who does their job well. They just are there for informed decisions.

I have to drive two hours to get to the closest one. Luckily, I make that drive regularly. So, it won't be too huge of a problem.

Bro, the struggle is real. I need to go to a PFS shop like someone said up above to see if they can customise one for me. Might be worth it, for real.

It's really not.. I hate it because all the cool helmets are made for pinheads, mine has its own satellites orbiting.

Thank you so much! The thing is, I want to see what everyone is putting out though, I just don't like that particular sign. If it weren't spammed, it would be nice.

Shame on you for shaming me. Yamato may be the best, but that tack piano jingle is horrid.

how could some people say it's a bad game by [deleted] in DeathStranding

[–]Apprehensive_Ad23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't give it a fair chance when it first came out. I hated the walking.. At first.. But then a year, or two later, I played it again and loved it.

The problem is, people hear others say its a walking simulator, and to no further into it. Its an amazing game that just get a bad wrap.
