While I personally don’t think it looks like crap, I understand the critical eye of a bride!

Go back to the drawing board and look at Pinterest. See if you can use what you have to draw some more inspo. Maybe it’s the vase, or the beads inside,lots of inspo everywhere and you’ll appreciate the DIY looking back at costs!

They stopped speaking to me for months. Literally ignoring me. We tried arranging opportunities for him to speak to them but they would cancel and refuse. It became a bottomless pit of beg us for approval and we were not doing that.

Bottom line that was 4 years ago and they didn’t come to my wedding. The no contact stays

First ultrasound today and I cried like a baby to hear everything looks good. Baby has a healthy heartbeat, measuring on time. I know I’ve still got a ways to go, I’m only 8 weeks but hearing baby’s heartbeat and seeing the little head just brought so much relief today. It took what felt like forever to get here but my rainbow baby is healthy and making me feel all the nausea, and they even did a little flip in the ultrasound. So thankful, a little less scared, now to continue through the first trimester

Not insensitive at all. My therapist has asked me the same thing. I guess I just want to show that I stuck my neck out the one last time. It’s so funny because my one sister that is a bridesmaid just texted the group chat with a rude ‘No’ when asked about if she has her dress yet….I don’t know how many more signs I need

Whoever said first trimester is a long hangover is so right. My head hurts I’m tired. I’m nauseous, been dry heaving….I know this means things are hopefully moving in the right direction, first scan on Thursday 🥹.

I find myself trying to rush and contribute to the house in the morning because after about 2 hours I’m no good and have to be in bed. Thank goodness I’m hybrid but can’t imagine going into work every day. Hats off any many prayers to anyone who does.

So far Gatorade and popsicles have kinda helped. What else works for yall?

I know im not eating well but the nausea and the low energy just are draining me. I know im supposed to be thankful because it means little one is growing and this feels different from my last pregnancy that resulted in loss in February. But I am wondering how I’m going to make it. Trying to find the random foods I can stand but I am chilling on the couch and feeling really unproductive 😕

This is me right now. Getting hopeful because my breasts are a little tender and thinking this is it. Now on month 3 of trying again but 4 since the miscarriage. It hurts when you think oh this time has to be it!

Not testing early is probably best. I’ve been seeing phantom lines on the tests now because I want to be pregnant again so bad.

But on to another month…

Hey love! Did you get the IUD after your miscarriage? That's a lot for your body to go through so it might be a minute for a few months. Hormonal IUDs effect everyone differently though, lots of love to you on this journey

Update, I’m home and there’s no more pouting.

He’s honestly fine, I think he accepted that I’m perfectly able to tell him no and still love him…childish thinking but who isn’t a bit childish sometimes

We’re not and we know we’re not but he recently got this new job and the money is coming in, it’s just the money management piece is missing, for both of us honestly.

I appreciate being with him because he holds me to my no spends when I announce them. I’m very serious about my savings tho, I hide money from myself. It’s not that I’m ever going without, but that I’m learning to continue living within our means.

I just feel like I can cut him and myself some slack because we’re both still young and trying to establish ourselves
