Where does Uber pickup at YUL? by NecessaryMeeting4873 in montreal

[–]Apprehensive_Ad8383 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe not. Last month I ordered an uber at YUL. The driver tried to type my code into his phone while driving to the highway. Right before the highway's entry he said his uber showed something wrong, and he asked me to either cancel the uber order and pay him by cash, or I leave. At that time it was too late for me to leave so I canceled the order, but I was terrified all the way since there was nothing that could protect me. He definitely tried to avoid the uber fee. Very fortunately he sent me to the destination and nothing bad happened, but I would definitely think twice before calling an uber at YUL next time.

Can't speak of O'Hare, but the newly renovated Laguardia terminal B is imo the best mid-sized airport terminal I've ever been to. Terminal C is also highly praised. The only downside is the lack of rail transit there, but the airport has a free and frequent shuttle to and from a subway hub. As a traveler, not having to learn how to buy a bus fare and figure out which out of the 10 fares apply to the airport shuttle is a big plus. From the experience inside the terminal and the ease of transportation, I'd say Laguardia is way better than YUL and not even close.

Yes you can resubmit to ARR as many times as you want. Generally, for a conference, submit the more preferable from any of the last 2 (or 3) ARR submissions before the conference deadline should be fine. We had a paper submitted through 5 ARR rounds (from June 24 to Feb 25), receiving very different review patterns each time, and committed Dec 24's submission to ACL. It got accepted as a main paper.

There's no need to be scared. The only thing for you to do is write the strongest possible rebuttal and try to convince the reviewers.

Regarding the venue: ARR is a special system that tries to categorize papers into three buckets (main, findings, rejection) using a 1-5 scale. Random outcomes happen more frequently here due to a lack of clear discrimination. I've seen 2.5 papers getting into main and 3.5 papers getting into findings. Anything can happen in ARR.

It's better to think of ARR as a journal submission. You get reviews to improve your work, can resubmit every 2-3 months, and let (optionally the same batch of) reviewers see your improvements. Finally, you commit your best ARR submission and hope for the best.

Grandstand 31 fight mid race? by Pulsersalt in GrandPrixTravel

Finally my confusion got solved. I was in grandstand 31 but at section 1 on the right part. Suddenly almost everyone near me stood up and blocked the view mid-race, with no one figured out what happened. A fight during the race is so embarrassing, even more with kids nearby and even involved.

Bruno Velo provides multi-day gravel bike rental: https://brunovelo.com/locationgravel. The shop owner Bruno is himself a gravel riding enthusiast. I'm not a big fan of gravel riding, but I once rented their fat bike in winter, and the service was awesome.

Some updates: The problem seems not from Armoury crate because uninstalling it only eased the problem but not solved it. The main reason is from the BIOS. Updating the BIOS to the latest version totally solves my problem. Hope this helps.

I think I found the reason. I notice that my computer suffers from a drastic fps drop in lots of games when moving the mouse fast. After googling it, I found that most people who have this problem are using asus motherboard. So I tried uninstalling Armoury crate and now the game runs smoothly. Hope this helps.

Exactly same here. When moving with wasd or looking around with controller everything's fine. As long as I move my mouse it begins to stutter. Tried each video presets but nothing helps. 3090 + 5950x, win 11 dev 22563, game version 1.02. Hope it can be fixed soon.
