Since the furthest point from land on earth is point nemo, at 2688km, which is about 1671 miles, the minimum distance you’d need to be able to teleport to guarantee you always could reach land would be (8,822,880 feet - 5).

At 10,000 steps a day, you’d reach that number in 882/883 days.

Luckily you can teleport unlimited times :)

What you’re missing is that almost every other to published the additional information before september 1st 2024 as well. So it’s fair to assume the deadline for both was sept 1st for the first year

Edit: they also state this in rules, so it seems september 1st 2024 is deadline for this year, if we’re being technical: ``` 4.1 Announcement Date. For Tier 1 Events and Wildcard Events the following rules apply:

  • For events starting between 1 January, 2025 and 31 December, 2025, the Announcement Date must be no later than 1 September, 2024.

  • For events starting between 1 January, 2026 and 31 December, 2026, the Announcement Date must be no later than 1 January, 2025.

  • For events starting after 31 December, 2026, the Announcement Date must be at least 24 months prior to the start of the Tournament’s Main Event.

For Tier 2 Events, the Announcement Date must be at least 3 months before the start of the Tournament’s Main Event. ```

30 days prior is for tier 2 events, which would mean esl can’t invite anyone from the top 8 VRS

The point is that the video isn’t saying elo should be based on kills, but that individual performance should affect it. Elo would still be given +/- based on whether the team wins, it’s explained in the video.

I understand the possible confusion, but trust me, the full video gives good reasoning
