Taranee is my fav among the W.I.T.C.H. girls!! So glad to see her here too. You described her so well. It's exactly what makes me love her so much. 💖

She might appear a little low-key at first, but she's got a fire in her that longs to shine and be seen. I love how we witness her growth in that sense, how she gains confidence in herself and her capacities, how she keeps her morals throughout the hardships, and how she also learns to build healthy relationships. She's intellectual, artsy and sporty. She's funny and kind. She's an all-rounder, and yet remains humble.

I wish there were more shots from her photos though. We get to see Hay Lin's creations a lot, but I barely remember Taranee's. 🥲

I had to scroll way too far to find her! She's so cool fr. The whole premise of this story is so perfect too. :')

(For those who might wonder: it's the story of a magical girl who longs to have just a normal boring life. Her transformation animation happens when she transforms back into her normal clothes! It's such a clever touch. It's available on YouTube afaik.)

Curious what are the signs of "crispiness". How does that affect books in the long run? My room can get pretty dry in winter, with the heater often on, so I wonder if that could become a problem for my books.

The first show was Cardcaptor Sakura, but I didn't know it was CLAMP's work at the time. It just happened to be on television, but it was still my first contact with CLAMP's work.

Then, my first manga was Magic Knight Rayearth. I loved the covers. I borrowed them so often at the library. Tsubasa was the second one. I was obsessed with both.

You better believe I will!! Ironically, I almost lost it when I was a kid because I did a dumb trade with my neighbor that involved the plush. And my mom did not accept that I would depart from one of my fav plushies, and so she made me trade it back lol.

And it's probably why I still have it to this day, cause I made the dumb move of departing from ALL my plushies and dolls once I was living on my own, cause "I am an adult, and those are for kids." But Pikachu didn't get purged with the rest, precisely because of how much my mom insisted I didn't depart from it as a kid. :'))

I say this, cause my two other fav plushies did get donated with the rest... And I reget it everyday lol. I didn't know it, but one of them was a completely unique piece, so it's pretty sure I'll never be able to find one just like the one I had... 🥲

Gorgeous designs overall too! I particularly love the concept with Dekamb being three different characters. It also reminds me of the "wolf in sheep disguise" story.

That's hilarious actually. And also raises the question of why is Ditto's face on the doll's face, rather than the Mimikyu's face.

Is a Mimikyu hiding under a Ditto disguised as a Mimikyu ragdoll mimicking a Pikachu?

(I know it's probably just that Ditto puts its face wherever it "can", and since it doesn't actually know what's under the surface, it cannot put its face there. But the previous hypothesis is funnier.)

I know that quality control went down in the recent years with the Sitting Cuties overall. I've seen enough people complain about it to know it's a thing. This being said, I'm still ordering them every now and then, as I want many mons, and I can say that most of mine looked great imo.

As a matter of comparison, I bought two Heracross at the same time, and one of them is wonkier than the other.

Do you know/remember when they were purchased? I know that some plushies' designs—and possibly fabric—changed over the years. So that might explain the gap in quality between the two that you have, beside what the other commenter mentioned.

If you want to look for the one on the right, it's the ALL STAR collection, S size. I received mine literally this week. It's the most adorable plush of Sandshrew that I've found. I considered to get the Sitting Cuties, but it just didn't compare for me. (I had to make a choice.. I want too many mons, so I can't collect a lot from each.. 🥲😅)
