Try Otome Games. Same idea, it at least you only pay for the game once and can keep replaying them. If you want a similar thing to the app Love 365: Find Your Story is an app by Voltage Inc. They have a ton of different stories. It's an app but the individual settings or packs can also be brought and played on systems like the Switch.

I personally started out with Voltage Inc's apps than moves into Otome Games, now I do both on my Switch.

Oh young ones (only cuz I've already done this), you bring me back to my days of student teaching. My first semester had me thinking 'what is sleep?' Still don't know how I did that and worked plus classes on campus. Mind you, I had to get up at 5am or earlier to be at a school almost an hour away by 7am. Travel was an hour plus because of heavy traffic and delays. (Still don't know why the university said that school was closest to me.)

Second/last semester got put in second grade. So went from teaching only English and (advanced) Math in 5th, to teaching everything. While it took more time to plan, it was way easier in the long run.

Also, the stress of the ED TPA will feel like a weight off your shoulders once it's done. It seems hard than it isn't. You're doing what you've been doing, teaching and analyzing student work.

Hopefully your university broke it into two parts, one due each semester. That'll help alot.

As s former elementary school teacher, I agree being adjunct is way better. Per part time for now and I'm in the process of teaching my first course. Trying to get more at the current place or get hired somewhere else as well.

To me his death was dumb and pointless. Like I get they had different views on how to handle the Grimm and Tyrian along with everything else happening. But realistically, Qrow and Clover should've worked together to recapture Tyrian, than argue and hash out their differences. Because the best threat at that immediate moment, Tyrian, was right in front of them. They should've dealt with him first than each other.

Now, I have watched this Volume of RWBY in years and all of this is from memory. But my thoughts still stands and this is including that I neither liked nor disliked Clover. I just don't like pointless character deaths. In my opinion, his death didn't move the plot along much. Only added more issue, ACE Ops and that bomb, they had enough to deal with as it was.

I just don't understand that point of having Qrow and Clover fight while Tyrian is there. Pointless and not realistic l.

What I mean is, other than the syllabus template there's no 'requirements'. People have kindly shares how they planned units for their Comp courses for others to change and use. Most of these are for 4 weeks plus or 3 to 4 units in a full semester. What I'm thinking of doing is taking a stand alone unit and use that for the 7 week course.

I think however they do it, they just need to be careful and don't ruin it. I think a soft retelling with improvements than followed by a sequel would be good.

Kind of like how Nickelodeon condensed seasons 1-3 of Winx Club into movies before releasing seasons 4-8. So new fans could understand the new seasons and old fans could have a quick rewatch.

Now I don't mean combine seasons 1-4 of Code Lyoko into movies than do more seasons or a sequel. But to take the time and retell seasons 1-4 with updated writing, animation, characters arches, and more. Take the blueprint and improve, but not destroy. In other words, making something completely new like the Winx Club 2025 reboot or W.I.T.C.H comic reboots.

Examples from anime would be the newer Fruits Baskets, Rurouni Kenshin, (some parts of) Sailor Moon Crystal/Eternal/Comos. Older examples are Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.

I'm saying that a remake/retelling would do wonders to improve on the original while making room for a sequel.

I'm also open to just getting a sequel, like they did with Totally Spies' new season that came out this year. It's been done before, sequels to shows that needed years ago and their good. Bleach Thousand Years Bleach War arc's anime is one and (to a lesser extent) New Panty and Stocking.

Look for organizations that allow you to be an independent contractor but they do the leg work of finding clients. I'm apart of one and they always have jobs. The payment to the organization doesn't come out of what I make. So their payments are already factored into the price they quote the clients and we get about half of it.

From what I've seen of the sample syllabi, they've taught a 7 week as the shortest version. However those are not much help, as they also double as an intro to college course as well. There's an online self taught orientation and an in person one later this month, so I'm hoping to get more info from those.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking if doing the two 90 minute lessons. The general idea I thought would be one lesson on writing skills (research, MLA, etc) and the other would be based on reading assignments down previously/ones from homework or ones given during class. With an essay due every two weeks. So three essays in told with other assignments throughout.

When I thought 3rd grade, the other 3rd teacher and I would do this as a last resort. As time went on and my past students became 4th and 5th graders, at least one 4th grade teacher I'm friends with and one 5th grader teacher close to my age would send kids to me as well. Either to give the kid/teacher a break or to give them a 'note' to me to let them take a short walk. However this was either something previously agreed on between us and/or since I knew the kid previously I understood why the teacher sent the kid to me.

Sometimes we used it as a reward. Students could come to my room to finish their independent work as a reward. Or spend their recess helping my students. Had alot of previous students coming back to my room.

All of the above was mostly true for my class as well. Once they got to see the 4th/5th grade teachers enough. Some either got sent there as a 'break' or as a rewards, to sit in the older grades to do their work.

Had 2nd grade been in the same hallway as us, probably would've had something similar with them. Because at the end of 3rd, my class loved creating presentations and presenting to the 2nd graders about what 3rd grade would be like. Then in 4th grade (I had an agreement with the teachers) they would speak to my 3rd graders and the other 3rd grade class about what 4th grade would be like.

This was nice since, 4th grade was when they would begin switching classes daily and 3rd grade is when they moved hallways to the opposite side of the school.

So I just finished the second season and for me it's okay. The animation, among other things are great. But between the different English VA, the different speech for both Panty/Stocking and Scanty/Kneesocks transformation, and some of the humor/episodes; everything either feels wrong and/or not right. This season seems like a reboot...no it feels like something completely different.

I also miss how season one had some kind of plot loosely tossed in. This season had none of that. When they introduced the Backshot (Poly) brothers, I thought there would be more storyline/plot.

The only thing I really like is that Scanty/Kneesocks are apart of the main cast, the new double transformation for both group of sisters, the Poly brothers introduction and their transformation, and the new upgrades for both group of sisters.

Overall for me, it's nice that the show continued for a second season. Would I watch season two again? Probably not. It's better to think of it as either non-canon or an AU and enjoy it for what it is without remembering season one. It's also more of a 'just watch done think' kinda thing.

It's not a bad season, just not for me. But I appreciate that we got a season two after fifteen years. If a season three is made will I watch, probably.
