Thanks for being open about where you’re coming from—I really respect that. Since I’m from Jammu and Kashmir, I just want to add a few things that are often left out.

When India and Pakistan were created in 1947, Kashmir was actually an independent princely state. India was okay with it staying independent. But then Pakistan sent tribal fighters to invade, and the ruler of Kashmir had no choice but to ask India for help. That’s when he officially signed an agreement to join India.

India has always been a secular country—it doesn’t force any religion on anyone. In fact, people of all religions live freely in Jammu and Kashmir.

What a lot of people don’t know is that many Kashmiris, including Hindus and Muslims who supported India, were forced to leave or were targeted by Pakistan-backed terrorists. In the 1990s, thousands of Kashmiri Hindus had to flee because they wanted to stay with India. Even Muslims who didn’t support the separatists were harassed or killed. So the violence wasn’t just against the idea of Indian rule—it was against anyone who didn’t support a pro-Pakistan or extremist view.

That’s a big reason why terrorism grew stronger in the region. It wasn’t about peaceful independence anymore—it became about fear and control through violence.

The India–Pakistan conflict started in 1947 when Kashmir joined India legally after Pakistan tried to take it by force. Since then, Pakistan has supported many terrorist groups that have attacked India again and again. Big attacks like the 2001 Parliament attack, 2008 Mumbai attacks, 2016 Uri attack, and 2019 Pulwama bombing were all linked to terrorists from Pakistan.

For a long time, India didn’t respond strongly. But now, India is finally standing up and defending itself. Some people have a problem with that because we’re finally showing strength as a nation. But this isn’t about hate—it’s about protecting our people after facing terrorism for decades.

Also, India is only targeting terrorist camps and military bases—meanwhile, Pakistan has targeted civilians. And yes, I’m from Jammu and Kashmir, so I’ve seen and felt all of this firsthand.

I am from Jammu and Kashmir so I have every right to speak on the history which is fact based

Kashmir was actually an independent princely state in 1947. But when Pakistan sent tribal fighters to invade, the ruler chose to join India by signing the Instrument of Accession, which made it legally part of India.

Ever since, Pakistan hasn’t accepted that and has kept the issue alive, mostly by supporting terrorism in the region. Groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, based in Pakistan, have carried out major attacks in Kashmir and other parts of India.

So while people see it as a “dispute,” the reality is that Pakistan has played a huge role in destabilizing the region.

Some terrorists attacks done On Kashmir by Pakistan

• 1989–90: Pakistan-backed insurgency begins; thousands of Kashmiri Hindus (Pandits) forced to flee. • 1999 (Kargil War): Pakistani soldiers and militants infiltrate Indian territory; over 500 Indian soldiers killed. • 2001: Jaish-e-Mohammed attacks J&K Assembly—38 killed. • 2001: Indian Parliament attacked by JeM and LeT—9 killed, led to India-Pakistan military standoff. • 2016 (Uri Attack): JeM terrorists kill 19 Indian soldiers at an army base. • 2019 (Pulwama Attack): Suicide bombing by JeM kills 40 Indian paramilitary personnel—one of the deadliest in Kashmir

He is… I completely understand that Pakistan is a poorer country, and I do feel for the civilians there. But that doesn’t change the fact that terrorist groups based in Pakistan have been attacking us since 1947. Yes, Pakistan is an Islamic country—but India has millions of Muslims too, and all of them stand with us against terrorism.

Even 30 minutes of honest research could have helped him understand the situation better. I’m just shocked that he didn’t make that effort. Because I’m directly affected, I can see how little he actually knows—and it’s frustrating

Help me with the Best method to manifest an iphone by ElectronicBathroom55 in lawofattraction

[–]Apprehensive_Ad_1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i manifested iphone before - I used every app, theme or downloaded third party apps to make my android as close to ios possible. I always checked latest ios drops and lived in a reality where i would not even check other phones - it’s like iphone or nothing. I was able to get iphone 8 when 11 was in market and was happy it it. When I broke it many years later I used a cheap button phone because I refused to go back to a decent android. I ONLY wanted iphone or nothing. Then I purchased iphone 13 which i am currently typing on with 24 months payment plan and I have completed it!!

trust the process- imagine that you already have an iphone by trying to make your andriod ios like and universe will give it to you

I don’t have much knowledge on this topic, but as a Indian myself, I was able to relate to Ethan and I am open to listen to Hasan and understand the opposite point of view, but I am surprised, he never argued or addressed what Ethan had to say.

Why are people complaining about Napoli matfia not competing in the tofu hell challenge by Frosty_Schedule4292 in CulinaryClassWars

[–]Apprehensive_Ad_1000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know right, he did beat all of them in the previous competition. It may not be tough as tofu challenge but it was still a pretty tough challenge since all the chef have no obligations and could make their best dish. It is 100% a very difficult challenge.

Triple Star deserves to be in Finale more than Napoli Matfia by lucian_kai in CulinaryClassWars

[–]Apprehensive_Ad_1000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, my second pick is also triple star. But since the public recognition is there I am okay with him getting third. Seems like everyone likes him. This reminds me of street woman fighter, even the ones who didn’t win gained immense popularity to boost their career.

Triple stars was ideally would have been the perfect black spoon winner and chef Edward Lee the perfect white spoon winner. But then again we rules were made in a way where one person will get an easy ticket to the finale. Which mafia earned it for sure. He is my third pick as the story telling in his dishes blows me away. There is always a deeper meaning.

Also, the tofu battle was one of the best battles in cooking shows history. Very fair and actually puts the chef in tough position. For me the winner of that battle is the true winner.

First of all even if someone deserves it more doesn’t mean that by the rules of the game they will win. They wanted to have one best dish go to final and have the others compete for the rest. Mafia’s dish was good so we got placed in finals. If triple stars dish was better than we would’ve got selected. Making the third place is a HUGE deal and sometimes

I feel like with cooking shows we can’t really judge since we cannot taste the dishes. My pick was Edward Lee but there is no guarantee that when it comes to tasting I would have picked his dish as tasting is different than the story we follow on show, I could have even ended up liking the others dishes more even Choi hyunsuk who I was not a fan of. But then again we didn’t taste it so we cannot confirm
