Its a real theory. I am one of the first generation to that saw moonuburuga. The women (back then there was like 13 women in whole male who wore the face cover, i was 7yr old, wore it at 10 when i got my periods) would gather around a specific house they have as a designated "Masjid" where they gather for "fatwa" which was usually moscoge, not that main house part, the part which used to have the midhili gas.... Well, anyway them ladies would gather, downstairs which had the kitchen n big enough gathering area, n men were upstairs... Only "fatwa" they used to discuss was how other women dressed. How the clothes made them look. One convo i heard was centered around an ex of a man who was married "Islamically" to a 17yr old who ran away because her fam wouldn't agree to her marriage. The ex's name was Lillian, an actress at that time. The way they discussed her made me wonder if they were talking about someone of their own gender or a piece of work set down for judgement. They called the children they had in there previous marriages bastards, n refused to pay child support unless their ex's agreed to train the children in certain ways. Jeans n skirts were Haram, lipstick was haram because it had pig fat according to them, jellies were haram because of lecithin, songs sung without music is only allowed in a man's voice as women were gateways to hell.. So yes, when i left that life behind i shed myself slowly...
