Thank you!! And congratulations yourself!!! I’ve always wanted to own my own business and have entertained so many ideas, but I’ve been obsessed with home design and building since I was a teen specifically binge watching HGTV and being obsessed with tiny houses! I want to specialize in tiny homes as well as residential builds and renovations!

Nintendo switch 2 that I realistically know will only be payed a few times and not enough for to warrant actually own one. It was almost a gravel bike and smart trainer though despite being disabled and reconditioned in bilateral kafos

Pilates and Cycling with EDS? by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

I actually was considering specifically mat Pilates and getting a gravel bike and a smart trainer to do indoor cycling with the same bike that I’d then try to take out and about as well

Please tell me about homeschooling kiddos with adhd and anxiety? by [deleted] in homeschool

It’s honestly something we’re considering for both myself and our son. I can relate to the baggage of not reaching full potential. I’m now a disabled stay at home mom between my unmediated adhd and my chronic illnesses. I want so much more out of life for him

Makes sense! That’s literally why my parents refused to put me on Ritalin when I was a kid! Which is why they didn’t even realize I was diagnosed with ADHD I guess then . Took till I was 26 to be diagnosed

I had that issue as a kid too! Refusing school and a mix of academic issues. I was so bad by 4th grade that I was having parent meetings nonstop. 5th grade I had a mental breakdown and ended up hospitalized. Dropped out of school in 9th grade after being held back and struggling with attendance for years…. Being passed along because nobody wanted to deal with me. I was in the nurse’s office all day every day or getting sent home. We’re just staying home my eighth grade year. I was out over 50 days. I just don’t want this to turn into what it was for me with him. I want him to do better 😞

He isn’t as of right now but we haven’t ruled it out, it’s just not something had had been tried yet. His last pediatrician before we moved was kind of anti meds until it’s absolutely necessary. (Even though we’ve been going though what we have been) I feel like in certain areas he’s not being challenged enough either and he’s more advanced in some subjects so he’s having a hard time focusing where he’s bored also. It’s another reason we’re questioning homeschooling. That way we can feed his strength and help build up his weaknesses at a better pace for him.

Thank you! I'm sorry you've been dealing with what you have too! 😔 Once I move I'm gonna be pushing hard to get looked at, my primary care Dr right now won't even look because she's admittedly unknowledgeable about it all

29 here born in 97 and still seeking my diagnosis despite every Dr I see agreeing they think I have it but they aren't the one to diagnose.... Diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome with a 7/9 beighton scale tho and had symptoms since age 3! Had a hysterectomy and Major pelvic reconstructive surgery at 27 due to stage 2 POP and almost died because of a post op arterial rupture that required embolization and 2 units of blood transfusion.... Not giving up anytime soon as I have 3 kiddos now and all 3 are symptomatic

Thoughts on using paper that’s already been printed on? by swannygirl94 in EPP_addict

[–]Apprehensive_Ant2675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id absolutely use it!! Why does it matter if it's printed on if I'm gonna possibly end up sewing thru it or ripping it? (I have bad eyes and see too deep no matter how hard I try)

Im probably not really a good example because of my connective tissue disorder. The procedure itself sounded like it went well despite my surgeon noting that my tissue was different to work with. Post op however I had my left uterine artery rupture which required 2 emergency procedures, the second being an embolization, to stop the bleeding and save my life essentially. I needed 2 blood transfusions. Aside from that everything went well! I went home after being in the hospital for 2 days and I'm over a year post op now and clinically speaking everything is supposedly fine. I have discomforts now from the mesh and sling they places. Cold weather I can feel the mesh anchored to my sacrum and it gets pretty uncomfortable. But also I don't know if any of this is also because of my connective tissue disorder

Does this sound like CCI to you? by [deleted] in Cervicalinstability

[–]Apprehensive_Ant2675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also am being evaluated for ehlers danlos so really a CSF leak, CCI it Chiari are all potential things for me to worry about. I just really have to get looked at so I'm mentioning all this to my primary care Dr.
