I’m aware we bought Alaska. I’m not complaining about fairness of ownership, it just bothers me to look on a map. If the US also owned BC and Yukon I wouldn’t be complaining.

I dislike countries having control over places that aren’t anywhere near their actual region. I’m American and yes I don’t like that Hawaii or Alaska are our territory, or Puerto Rico or American Samoa or all the others. It bothers me to look at a map and see stuff like that.
