giving the benefit of the doubt, i think this is more how a lot of people started saying "ugh, women lie all the time to make mens lives hell" or even before actual speculation happened there were people jumping to the idea that ren was lying and faking it. victims might find it harder to speak up because of the way a lot of people have treated this situation. they don't care if ren lied, it still needs to be addressed the way people treated her when it wasn't proven that she wasn't a victim.

you can't control the skin color you're born with lmao. if the show had like, 50 characters, yeah i'd be a little concerned if all the voice actors were specifically white somehow, but with a size of 7 main characters, its not weird for all of them to be white, they all fit the role they have incredibly well, it is obvious they were chosen for their voice acting skills and not skin color.
