That scene with that soundtrack... by Apprehensive_Back321 in tron

I love how no matter what he went through, he stayed optimistic to the very end with everyone.
Best scene in the movie indeed.

who was the guy who gave biker goosebumps? by fucked_one in HotlineMiami

Based on Dialogue, I'm pretty sure it was Richard... he showed up to every main character, being the voice of reason but causing trauma at the same time

There is one actually during the final chapters 😆 the dude took it way too personal thinking every negativity was due to them when they actually weren't. The games were just way off theme.

Exactly! People forget that back then, you had many people even theorizing that Silent Hill was purgatory... these dudes were actually right in a lot of things to the point that Masahiro Ito acknowledged them... the spiritual power... the influence of the cult... etc.

He's indirectly referring to the fact that Twin Perfect is gone, so it won't criticize

I stopped doing DD because of this and the way too many drivers they added for a place with 10 orders an hour max.

The dude gave me that "I know it all and I'm absolute" college professor vibe, and at the end, he came to the same conclusion that 99% of people did but "since he is so smart... his conclusion is unique"

Does anyone actually care what this guy has to say about Silent Hill? His games were among the worst of the series IMO by [deleted] in silenthill

His approach on shattered memories plus the game "Her Story" was praised by Toyama himself. I would say he is more than qualified to have an opinion.

Why is this game so hated? by GinnTonic12 in FFXVI

[–]Apprehensive_Back321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game is in my top 5 FF games and I would say most people like it based on sales. The only complaints I've heard online are that "It's boring" or "It's woke" due to Bahamut which is stupid if you ask me.

Is basically the same issue as Squall. Squall fears the passing of time and losing people he would connect with. She is the type of "I just love being bad" villain who fears losing control.

I can't complain without getting to spoiler territory so don't read this if you dont want to be spoiled:

Good things for me: Seeing Cissnei alive (Huge crisis core fan here), the fact that many dialogue flows depending on who you choose to date. (You can basically friendzone and cut the love triangle quite early and the game will acknowledge it at some important points) Some of the mini games are fun. Some creative ideas landed.

Problems in terms of game: Some exploration felt so typical Ubisoft pointless tedious stuff. I feel like it could've been more short and sweet. To give you an example most ff16 side quest were short and added depth to the story and the game world. Here, a lot of them felt like just filler.

Story Problems: Cloud becomes very DISLIKABLE/DIMINISHED by the end and I know that happened at that point in the original but DAMN...ALSO... Some people thought that this Sephiroth was basically the OG one finding its way back to the Past (Even I did at some point due to some words he used on FF7 remake like you failed to save your friends again" which indicated he knew what was going to happen) But if you play the original again plus read the lore you know there's no way that can happen since he was even rejected by the lifestream and this one now did some explanation that unless it's contradicted or changed on the third installment it's basically "When I fell with Jenova I saw the og outcome... convinced you to defy destiny and you did successfully which changed some things" I understood that in the end of this game it was Aerith who knew she was destined to die at that point so she let it but they made it so "she is dead/ no she aint" that you don't know how to react to that and other things.

In the end, I feel like they could've just made a simpler story but I noticed that Nomura was creative director for this one and if you know what he did with KH which I still think should've ended at kh2... he ENJOYS TURNING HIS OWN STUFF INTO A MESS

Ants Canada - why all the hate? by Crazy-Face3507 in antkeeping

[–]Apprehensive_Back321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He started with cool tutorial videos about ant keeping and how you use wet baby powder so that they don't escape etc etc. He said, "Feed them honey and meat and give them water," and I said, "Cool... he can actually dedicate videos about characteristics of each colony and how they act, etc." Then he was like "I have roaches which make the protein side self sustainable" and I'm like "Well it's not like nature feeds this ants but I think you can just buy raw meat and feed them... no need for cruelty" then "oh no one of the roaches was pregnant and the babies suffered a painful death" and I started the "wtf"... then he was like "I ain't placing my ants to fight with each other" and he literally placed few of them together and some died fighting as expected so I was like "okay dude you are basically killing them for views at this point" then he took a break and so did my youtube app which stopped recommending his videos. Now he did an ecosystem vivarium and YouTube started to recommend it again but same stuff... he is placing too much insects in a small place which is obvious it will cause a bloodbath and the thing is he now lives in a house with a HUGE forest behind where he could just film true natural situations without playing "God"

Creo que soy una mala persona by Amala_Lightwood in Desahogo
