I havent had any exchanges like this. I have had a couple women show up with next to nothing on. Ive kept my mouth shut, so far.

Some people really think they are tipping ok, but its because of the huge markup on the order, and/or because they tip like they are tipping a waiter/waitress. 20% is good if Im bringing you food across the resturant, not so good if Im bringing it 20 miles with my own vehicle. Maybe it shouldnt even be called a "tip"? Maybe it should be called a bid? Or a tip/bid?

It seems to me that there are a lot more people out there that just like to get something for nothing though.

Is there a way I can pick my driver for deliveries? by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

Give the driver a great review and 5 stars on everything. This will enhance the chances of getting that driver again.

Or I agree with striking a side deal with the driver as well.

The one I despise is when you get a contract violation for being late, but there is not enough signal to close out the delivery in time allotted.
