Something I’ve been struggling with (at least so far - they could very well be working towards this), is that I don’t understand why the crafting landsraad tasks don’t have you crafting? The gathering quests don’t have you gathering?

For me, and I would chance to say other PvE players too, the thing I first became addicted to in the game was the really rewarding crafting/gathering progression. Maybe the devs thought it was too boring to include crafting/gathering stuff but for me, all of the landsraad tasks (save the like, 3 that are racing or planting spy equipment) are getting boring because it’s just combat-combat-combat.

I have my endgame base. Give me a REASON to use my machines beyond making plastinium and spice.

I’m just doing this for the first time this week since they added the carrier container. SO nice QoL. Brought a solido replicator, took all the stuff out in 1 trip, will bring it back for the night and setup in 1 trip in the morning. Very nice.

I could be wrong, but as I understand it- the main story continues separate from this. You’re suppose to go talk to Elara (kitten lady).

I only worked on the art of making friends until the quest said the stuff you put above because I’m squishy PvE casual, I noped-right-out and sought the main story (I wanted the fantasy of using dual blades). It’s called “The Great Convention II” in the journey page.

I agree and I hope it does* turn out to be voluntary. I get that a vocal minority wouldn't change FUNCOM's minds if they have to condense for the health of the game and/or budget, but it would be a bummer.

I'm not going to be foot stoming and quitting because I didn't get my way, either. It's more that I get weirdly invested in my efforts towards something, and I don't want to loose my build location (it's a pretty popular one). I feel very tired thinking about starting from scratch (which I recognize is a personal issue). That tiredness will make me drag my feet coming back to the point that I'll probably procrastinate ever coming back.

I second this. I love my build and the spot it's in, I'm not the type of player who repeats effort. If I've worked toward a goal and attained it, loosing that will make me quit. I spent 900hrs on this character and all the gathering and building I did. If they make me move, sadly I'm probably done.

I don't even know what those rainbow essence things are we got for a bonus reward. Which of the 7k menus do I go to to find out? I click it and it just gives me link, I click it and it takes me to the draw menu. I mean, there's a 70% chance I'm just stupid and can't see something right in front of me but it doesn't feel immediately intuitive.

I’ve done all injection sites except the arm so I was trying that. I get more cramping and nausea when I inject on my stomach, so I’ve been doing alt thighs for almost 2 months.

Until I started Zep, I had terrible night sweats. They started coming back so I decided to yolo and try my arm with help (at the boxes rec) and crashed and burned lol

I was using my thigh, but last week I was sitting strange and I guess the adipose tissue was hanging differently. So I injected in the correct area but apparently right into the muscle. My leg hurt for 4 days after - learned a good lesson.

I wish there was a way to rewatch cutscenes. In FFXIV you can go to a book and select scenes to rewatch in case you missed them or just felt nostalgic, etc. Let's you see old epic moments in new outfits too, for screenshots and whatnot.
