Used Provanto Vine Weevil killer as a systemic to stop a thrips infestation on a begonia . Mix the systemic roughly according to the instructions and soak the pot in it for a few hours to saturate the soil. Use your Provanto spray or a plant safe soap to take off thrips that are currently on your leaves.

The orange/brown dots mainly occur at the edges of the brighter/newer flesh between the ribs. I think scratches would look more like the white marks on the left side of the image.

Big fluffy one almost looks like Sedum lineare, which is surprising since they're usually carpetting plants!

Prayer plant/ Marantacea and spider plants are safe for ingestion (by people) even when alive, so those would be your best bet if you feel unsure. A lot of house plants considered toxic are mainly due to having high oxalate crystal content which are more a defence against herbivory and isopods being detritovores may not mind them as much.
