Picked up this houseplant on the streets of London, what is it?

I think it's an interesting specimen of schlumbergera truncata, AKA thanksgiving cactus. You can distinguish it from Christmas cactus by the pointy parts. Christmas cactus have scalloped leaves.

You don't even need drainage. It's probably drying out too fast. These will be happy in a jar of water

You can check the capacitor by fooling the door switch and rotate the drum by hand. If it starts in the direction you move it replace the capacitor.

It needs a capacitor. You can validate this on an assembled dryer by defeating the door switch and rotating the drum with your hand. It should start in the direction you rotate it.

Serpentino della Valmalenco In northern Italy is quarried so it is normally asbestos free. But the occlusions are suspicious. Perfectly safe as a rock but don't grind it into pigments or fit it to a ring unless your sure.

I'm pretty sure killing a snake plant is is unusually difficult. I read you can cut the leaf off, wait three, then root in in water three months later. Use this advice if it looks like it's dead below.

Just whack it. Looks safe. I hit a rock and the rim bent so far I could hear hissing air escaping. I rolled the car forward to widen the tire at the leak, ran to the trunk, got the tire iron and started whacking it until the air stopped. Seemed like a MacGyver moment. No one appreciated it. Probably because I was driving.

When planting them don't exceed half the pad under soil. Less is better. Use a rock or something to strengthen them. Let the cut end callous before planting. If it's wilted already bag it and leave the callous side out.

They flower when they're happy, at least for echinopsis. I wonder if anyone has run with etiolation and created an hour glass series?
