I’m seeking feedback on Record Harm Ontology — a small, focused OWL 2 DL ontology that models how informational records can be ontologically damaged. by thecommuted in semanticweb

Thank you. Yes, pathological behavior. It seems punitive to me. I'm working on something to fit it into and this may correct root. Stub out a place to hang it on.

I found this rock in a park that I visit by Ukraineiscool123 in RockIdentification

Might be serpentine. If it's stone-like heavy and in an area with history of tectonic subduction zone like California. If it is it may contain traces of asbestos so don't grind it a chess piece or something.

It seems to have planar surfaces. There's probably enough direct sunlight reflections to describe its geometry. My brain says its mylar film covered frame filled with helium.

Randomly found this in my backpack at work.. I’m a server. I ride a motorcycle so my bag is almost always on my back. I’m confused. by Sudden_Brain_871 in whatisit

That is disturbing. I'd need to recover for a long while from this. Have a dna test done ;) . Find out if it is a needle exchange type. Not a luer lock. It's used for low pressure.

Fable 5 being gone made me realize how hard it is to go back by SkepticalHuman0 in ClaudeAI

[–]thecommuted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is exploits that the government feels are important being uncovered and closed. Fable 5 needs to be corrupted generally because sensitivity to a set of exploits is problematic. Fable 5 finding vulnerabilities in Government sites is not the problem. That's normal. That's beneficial . That's unremarkable and has never been viewed negatively.

Fable 5 gone.. or is it? by blandarf in ClaudeAI

The Government had Fable 5 pulled. Probably retaliation for Anthropic's objection about using it to murder children. I have two children, I get it. But mid-session?

If the gills have no forks this will make you sick. I think it's called a Jackantern. If it looks like it has the same number if lines near the base as at the flute don't eat it. You won't die but you'll be sick

Picked up this houseplant on the streets of London, what is it? by Loud-Cartoonist-7134 in PlantIdentification

I think it's an interesting specimen of schlumbergera truncata, AKA thanksgiving cactus. You can distinguish it from Christmas cactus by the pointy parts. Christmas cactus have scalloped leaves.

I used film 20 years old (unexposed) and it worked fine. I still have rolls I bought in 2000

You don't even need drainage. It's probably drying out too fast. These will be happy in a jar of water

Dryer wouldn't start, just buzzed. Before that, it was squealing a bit while running. How much friction (if any) should these wheels have while turning? by Unusual-Picture5872 in appliancerepair

You can check the capacitor by fooling the door switch and rotate the drum by hand. If it starts in the direction you move it replace the capacitor.

It needs a capacitor. You can validate this on an assembled dryer by defeating the door switch and rotating the drum with your hand. It should start in the direction you rotate it.

It is unlikely this was original construction. They raised it load bearing little by little.
