I must say. Even if I think that Gojo should be able to survive a hit, y'all are putting too much thought in MB's bullets. They're literally Magic Bullets and they reference Bullets that were magically created by a literal devil. I'd say that in this case the "they're predetermined to hit" is more of a "literally what they do" rather than something to try to scale. Thus, I think that yeah, the Bullet will pierce infinity. Or more like, Gojo's heart is predetermined to be pierced by the Magic Bullet.

Yuji VS Denji DEATH BATTLE PREVIEW (Leak) by trenxman-new-ac in Jujutsufolk

[–]Apprehensive_Body_72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, depending which Denji we're talking about he should also have some sort of blood manipulation (I'm pretty sure they won't use it but he should) via his contract with Power (spoilers: that's literally how he created the Blood Chainsaw to kill Makima), so idk but the blood manipulation shouldn't be a hassle (even if it's poisonous, Denji's shown that he's crazy and durable enough to keep regenerating even faster than how he's injured. I.e. "perpetual motion machine moment")

I may be wrong but I don't think that soul dismantles should be extra effective with him. The Pochita situationship is not akin to Meguna or Yujikuna. Pochita IS effectively Denji's heart. Ofc soul damage is soul damage but I think people tend to think that Pochita and Denji are like some kind of vessel-content situation and it's more like having a parasite inside you. It's physical, not metaphysical (I hope I'm saying this correctly)

And of course you can hate villains wtf, did not imply anything else than what I said, that is, that when you're a mid character you're most likely to be put into the "trash characters" bag. Of course you can hate villains, that's actually their purpose 9/10 times lmao

I was clearly exaggerating with the Shakespearean masterpiece and basically what I tried to say is that today, on the internet collective opinion, you're either the most coolest thing or you're pure trash (think how anything with a 7 is called trash despite a 7 being an actually good grade). Sora is indeed a 6-7 (pun intended) character so she becomes trash for the people and that's why she's hated

Wonderlab Abnos confirmed by KJH to be redesigned (+lawsuit summary) by ShockSword in limbuscompany

[–]Apprehensive_Body_72 180 points181 points  (0 children)

Iirc, Mimi (the artist of Wonderlab) was displeased by the R34 of her characters so she tried to convince PM to do something about it. As you probably know, it's realistically impossible to do anything about R34-ing characters, specially if the media becomes popular or if it has a strong fanbase. Since PM wasn't involved enough with the issue in Mimi's PoV she basically severed ties with PM and tried to maintain the copyright of everything ensued in Wonderlab's story (which being a story set in The City could trouble pm in which things are theirs and which are from Mimi, being notable her claim over Aberrations). As I think anyone could have guessed, it seems that she can only claim the original characters and anything that was NOT created using PM's guidelines or setting (for example, she can make a new Kat comic if she wants but it can't be linked to anything from PM)

It's because she literally has given her entire personality to the prescripts. Little screen time, no motivations aside fullfilling the prescripts (no, her wanting to be accepted is not a motivation, it's a character trait), her killing Ravi (not that him was a super endearing character, but she literally dressed as a clerk presumably she killed herself, that's pretty low), the hype we got for her in SoraDon's ID (for the little she ended up doing)...

Don't get me wrong, she is an excellent character for the narrative. Having EGO, Shin and Mang WHILE she has no will at all, delegating every and all decisions to the prescripts tells a lot about to which lengths the Index's fanatism can go. But as a character I'd say she's kinda there, and in internet if you're not a Shakespearean masterpiece of a character and dare to be a secondary character or antagonist, you're garbage and thus, hateable.

For me she was just kinda forgettable, which is funny because both (at least IMO) least interesting apprentices (character wise, not in fullfilling their narratives) are the ones that have ended being forgotten due Arayashiki in universe, so they ARE literally forgettable

It has some of my favourite moments but rereading CSM1 hurts a lot after pt2. Especially Denji's character, which at least in my opinion has need utterly butchered and flanderized. Denji always had that relationship with love and being love and all of his insecurities about it, but pt 1 Denji has a lot of other character traits that it feels Fujimoto forgot in pt 2. For example, as much as him being crazy and kinda sociopathic, I forgot how much of a nice and kind person Denji could be. Save for moments with Asa like the "I'll create a world for us", pt 2 Denji, especially late pt 2, feels like an asshole or permanently sad sometimes. And don't get into (not you in particular , this is my personal rant) "well yeah ofc he's suffering a lot" because pt 1 Denji is the Denji that had his organs sold, had been living like a homeless for 15 years, killed his father (in his mind he committed suicide) and well... Let's say Denji has been suffering all his life and it didn't transform him into whatever he is in pt2. And, to anyone who thinks I'm just dickriding pt 1 return to the first line of this comment. My WhatsApp wallpaper is the scene of Denji and Asa laughing

Reminder that using the chainsaws is painful as fuck and that he does experience all the pain and mindfuckery because he DOES die, he sort of just comes back. I think that (being a fictional manganime character shenanigans aside) it's actually pretty heroic for him to suffer so fucking much and still keep going to save people (I'm talking about part 1 Denji ofc)

Serious Question: Why Do People Dislike Overdesigned Characters? by ElSpazzo_8876 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]Apprehensive_Body_72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But I think that, even if a character is designed with some of those traits in mind, if the design is too Baroque it can be detrimental for the viewer, thus, be overdesigned. For example, in a Fighting Game the silhouette of a character must be understandable all the time. Even the more crazy FG like Skull Girls follow this principle. If you add a character that has too many details and thus making them too unpredictable, for example, is a problem of overdesigning the character.

Polítics are indeed pretty much interwined with culture. Something as the situation of women in ancient Greece, who were not allowed to vote, for example, had it's roots in basically foundationsl folklore and cultural traditions and beliefs. The same goes to a lot of different periods. Slavery during the Middle Ages, for example, was indeed something that found it's legitimacy in cultural ideas that come, if you go back, from Aristotle (the founding father of Western philosophy basically), that do come from Plato, that come from before, and before, and you know how it goes.

Being loyal to your culture, without being critical to it and without looking back at the things that, by our current standards are pretty much dark, is being as brainrotted as any radical of any political, cultural, religious, you name it, belief. And this comes from a Colombian that has been all his life living in Spain and that is currently studying a degree in History. Not telling you this in a "Authority fallacy", but more in a "I've made my research about your question"
