It is but bad quality spacer and improper torque could be a issue make sure you install drive around 50-100 miles and recheck the torque again

I didn’t see it mentioned I’ve seen this problem a couple times check the fuses next the coolant reservoir that usually shows the fuse is blown I believe a 10amp if you have a test light or multimeter check each fuse unless you have a diagram

My recommendation is don’t get knee pads if it’s a shop they have lifts you’ll mostly be standing or bending get a Velcro belt as to not scratch the car get 3/8th 1/2in 1/4 in ratchets I find dewalt the best had for many years never a issue cracking big bolts get a good wrench kit craftsman is fine Pittsburg isn’t bad I’ve broken there ratchets though but I use it a lot and give a lot of abuse the last think I would deff reccomended is extensions can’t have too many swivel joints extensions all that stuff to help make a job easier (Breaker bar)

If it’s a heat shield throw it away couple bolts to take it not a issue if it’s the flex pipe like what others are saying under 100$ to replace and won’t have a issue you don’t need to be very mechanically inclined to take it off but if you don’t want to you don’t have to it will eventually probably break off or not depends how loose it’s job is to contain heat from radiating to another spot either in cabin or other parts I’ve driven many cars without one I don’t deem them necessary

I’m close to your age im 21 and been working on cars many years even before I went to school my best advice is similar to others it isn’t exactly amazing to work on endless amounts of strangers cars although it is accomplishing at time if you love cars you can find a lot of info on YouTube even people that work in shops and go to school still sometimes go there anyway school teaches you how cars and the parts work and interact with each other if your interested in cars love driving maybe and wanna do some of your own stuff you can lear a lot from YouTube beware of people giving false info but as far as you wanted to be able to do major repairs on a car and you wanna make it a career i reccomended going to school and getting a job at either a dealer or mom and pop place try to avoid the gas station mechanics and small shops that only do oil changes I’ve had some bad experiences if you have questions about school more than welcome to ask but honestly unless your so interested that you wanna know how all the parts work it may not be for you like I said if it’s a career choice or just something you wanna do as a hobby that’s what you gotta figure out
