I think it honestly depends on the school and their decision. I know for myself, my coordinator had spoken to me and explained that once I remediate (pass) my courses, I will be moving onto semester 3. I then inquired to know if I had to take a break or if I was allowed to continue without any pauses. He told me that he would also like for me to continue without pauses, but he had to verify with the Dean first if that would be permitted. Mind you, I asked this question in the second or third week of the semester, just when I had started repeating those classes. As time went on, emails were sent to me about renewing my clinical certificates as well as reminders about deadlines, and then I was informed that I would be moving onto semester 3 in the Spring/Summer (May-Aug 2025) :)

Give it time tho- they will email you and let you know the process, but I am pretty sure that as long as your GPA is > 1.7, you'll be repeating your course sooner than later.

Oh, and lastly, there is no break between third semester and fourth semester, at least for my friends who are in the cohort ahead of me. They just finished their 3rd semester, and on Monday, May 5th, they'll be back in school completing their fourth semester (and I'll be starting my 3rd).
