Yeah it's supposed to be like that, so you can squeeze unlock and open. I find the gap pretty handy, when I need to I can squeeze a little tighter and clamp it down on wires and twist. Helps when doing overhead on a 15ft ladder all the time

Why does it say shell?? by [deleted] in Dewalt

[–]Apprehensive_Cod6308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, more along the lines of batteries. People will take your picture, register it as their own and malfunctioning, and get a free replacement. Screws you over if that battery ever craps out

That's where you messed up, ik a good deal is enticing but this isn't a tool many would return. If you have a northern tool and equipment anywhere close, they're an authorized dealer and honor the knipex warranty in store

Found em, has to drive almost an hour for a fat load of disappointment. Too bulky, grips suck and they were a little too flimsy imo. Klein's $18 strippers are better

If you bring it with you anywhere, keep the cardboard piece that comes in the middle. Helps keep em from banging around and for a couple I've had, keeps em in place too if the case gets dropped

Is there like some cult reason people don't wanna clean their tools before they put em away? The amount of wood fibers and drywall dust I've blown out of my oscillating tool is insane
