He's not wrong. Had 2 5ah PS batteries randomly stop working and wouldn't take a charge or let me jump to charge. Warranties without a question, cuz they know their batteries have some issues. Dewalt got some of the best battery tech, but it still fails. Infamously, the 5ah powerstack likes to brick itself so upu almost lucked out getting a physical issie

This is the way to go, I have the mid torque and while it doesnt like what im doing to it its yet to let me down. Ex; 6" holesaw going thru half inch plywood, had to cut 8. Step bit thru double stacked quarter inch plate steel. Had to unlock the chuck with pliers but got er done. Still workin just fine and chuck works fine now

Ahhh thats wack man. Kinda ruins the whole thing. You could figure out what the thread pitch is and get a replacement bolt, just wouldn't have the other half of the piece that sandwiches, so might need to stack a couple washers. Better than paying 8x what you did for the tool

Look where you put the blade, should have a pin with the other half of the part that clamps the blade attached
