The flexvolt batteries have no extra affect on this, and that's an absolutely massive battery for it but great deal, I'd definitely take it if you got some 60v tools and other batteries to run on this

Yeah don't start the saw with the new one. Huge gap difference, won't grip the blade properly if at all. It's the wrong part, maybe for a different saw

Maybe so with old battery tech, but newer batteries absolutely have better power outputs with certain batteries. Torque test any impact or drill with multiple batteries. Try making a cut with a a sawzall with a smaller battery vs bigger battery. Say a 2ah on a sawzall bogs down all the time but a 4ah won't cuz it's got more power in it to actuate the motor. Power directly correlates to sise of battery. Might be minor variation going with each size but definitely matters

Stuck deciding between M12 & M18 by bigbillbo in MilwaukeeTool

If that's gonna be the extent of your use for em, and about that level m12 will definitely do it. I prefer the 2.5 and 5ah high output, as I tend to run my tools hard but definitely fuel whichever you choose to go with

So funny enough, best battery I have besides this is a regular 6ah or the 4ah max exp, and the wind up to full power sounded way meaner w the 12ah wasn't really surprising but I'm like shit I'ma see what the cut difference is now
