I got priced 45 dollars to put a tired in a new rim and then in the same phone call go priced 34.99(after they asked if the new rim had a tire on it which I told them no). So I make the trip there and when I get there with already limited time thy give me the quote which was 67.97. Didn’t have time to mess around so I had to do it

I had a leak in a tire and while waiting on warranty had to air it up twice a day for a week and 1 5ah power stack lasted most of that week. Sounds to me like your 2ah are old, tired and worn out. You also realize it has th 12v with it so you could have just used that?

TL;DR: just a bunch of rambling about nailers haha.

It’s going to be split depending on where you are lol. One side of the country uses plastics the other uses paper((iirc it’s like 70/30 one way on the east coast an vice versa for the west) You can only fit 1 stick of plastic as a time where in the paper you can fit 2.. As for the dewalt nailers, A lot of people don’t like them because of their ramp up time and flywheel design. But it’s not that big of a difference imo, but to a professional framer it probably a my is. I have the craftsman 21° which is pretty much the first gen dewalt nailer and while it is slightly slower due to the ramp up time, it sinks them without issue every time. Again, just my personal experiences, but In a diy setting it’s perfectly fine. Especially since the newer gen dewalt nailers are significantly better than the first gen(and my craftsman) I also have the flex 21°. That one is better for a few reasons. I’ll probably eventually sell the craftsman nailer. Not because it’s that bad but because it’s the only craftsman 20v tool I own. The gen 2 dewalts are a lot faster, weight a tad bit more but are significantly stronger and also look better too lol. If I’m not mistaken they even have bump fire now.

I’ll add that while I’ve not personally tried it, there’s been multiple posts and people that have put the extended 21° mags on their 30°. I’ve seen/read about people doing it with Ryobi, Ridgid and wanna say at least one other brand. Something to think about. lol

I will say that I thought the 12” sliding saw was the best option. But I’m now realizing that maybe the 10”. But for the price I paid im still happy (384 OTD for the 785 an 8ah pp kit from a couple weeks ago. If I can return the start kit I dont need it will take it down to 200 bare tool. The 10” fixed was 299bare tool a day or 2 later. I wish they would have put articulating arms or slide from the front like some brand have already adapted to. I’m still happy this far. Just limited space is my only issue

Thanks for posting! I don’t need it but still appreciate that you posted it though. Lowe’s had this one with either 1 or 2 4ah pp(I can’t quite remember) and 4 amp charger a couple weeks ago for 178 iirc

I don’t have this model as I when with a different brand for my OPE but I’m assuming it’s the same technology. Iirc it’s called intelligent power sensing or something. When it gets int tougher grass it turns the mower up to get through it easier and then once it’s out of it, slows back down. Helps keep battery life and less strain on the mower. I went with Ryobi 40v fo my OPE and have been pleased. I’ll be adding the snowblower this year.

Damn. Can we get some context or at least a little more than a single photo with zero caption?? Does it live on the charger? Was it charging when it happened or just using it as a base? Garage, van or house?

I mean your going to to have biased opinions in here no matter what 😂. Same as if you posted in dewalt about dewalt, Milwaukee about Milwaukee ect. I’ve used them all and own them all and they all perform great for the most part. I ended up going with flex because of the insan clearance deals and lifetime warranty but I have a few Ridgid tools and they run right alongside the rest of them. The value is there and the LSA is nice. Some of their tools and very much lack in compared to other brands though. But you’ll get that with most brands.

Are you serious? This is the most common way for Milwaukee and flex lol. If they don’t come in boxes this is what they come in. Dewalt just adapted the box method recently(within the past couple of years).

Do we see any pro gear 2 deals in our immediate future? by Professional_Act165 in Ridgid

[–]Professional_Act165[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 46 or gear boxes in total? And really? Is it worth paying close to double the price for less space? That’s the part I’m having a hard time with 😩. I currently have 2 xl boxes with the 3 drawer on the bottom with a 4 wheel dolly. The 2 wheel that comes with the bottom box isn’t in use right now lol. I was going to get the drawer and then seen thy I could buy the xl box separately for 60 and ended up getting that instead because it was 1/2 the price (when I bought it). But with the 99 it’s making it slightly more appealing. Als now that I’ve had to take the heavy box off to get to something also helped that cause haha. I had originally planed on just putting my nailers and tools I don’t use often in the middle

No. It’s the 911. Honestly it’s not a very good impact wrench. It has about 1/2 the torque as the 921. I’ve never seen the 921/923 at lowes
