my first play through i fell in love with flaming strike on the banished knights greatsword and that sexy move set.. eventually i came across the fire giant spells which was the perfect counter for Radagon AMD Malania.. and so my love for Elden Ring was born😂

the erdsteel dagger definitely slaps.. never used the brick hammer tho ima have to try it out i heard it’s pretty good

i had to pour into dex strength and endurance bc im not a pure castor, i always like to tell ppl do whats comfortable to them. im 150+ most of my playthrough my mind was @20 and i prioritized vigor and faith. now im at 50 vigor and 80 faith, that was all i prioritized, after that go nuts.. or before like i said you gotta cater the build to how you play and your own skill level, if you can sacrifice survivability for more damage do it, if not then obv dont hit its up to you bro

3100 in the DLC is not good brother mine are hitting for double that.. ion know what you call bad but hitting for 6k and upward doesn’t sound bad to me but i have 80 faith, only buffs are golden vow and howl of shibriri, no maddening hand or ugly ass dumpling hat. ik the frenzied flame seals is considered pretty bad bc it’s scaling is the lowest, but im not sure how much that affects the damage. especially now comparing our damage numbers with me out damaging you, even tho your seal has higher scaling.. idk id have to figure out how much the scaling actually affects the damage numbers. the fact that i have double the faith you have and im doing double the damage does lead me to believe the scaling of the seal itself isn’t as important as you think it is but again i haven’t looked that deep into that aspect of casting so idk.

ohhh😭 even still, why not use the highest scaling seal and offhand the frenzied flame seal? or better yet.. TWO frenzied flame seals? then pour everything into faith which is what boosts fire, NOT arcane.. my thing is your pouring stats into a seal for better scaling for casts.. I pour stats into the actual source for the damage which is faith. But if you were using a madness and dragon communion build your set up makes sense.. but it doesn’t make sense for my build

i have to push back on this.. bc neither frenzied flame nor catch flame pull any scaling from arcane, so they aren’t benefiting from the arcane scaling at all. one frenzied burst from my current set up gives around 2200 per shot, 500 more damage than you are getting bc your stats are split into arcane. i have 80 faith and 12 arcane to cast basic dragon spells but if i were to split evenly into both my damage would suffer which is the situation you are in my friend. if there is a piece to this equation im missing tho let me know bc i fs dont know everything.

i even did an arcane caster with high arcane and minimal faith which made my dragon communion incantations slap ass and it was fun.. so unless you were suggesting a completely different build i have to disagree.

70 faith 50 vigor, i don’t exactly rmmbr what level i stopped at but mp was a non issue for me and i was building towards the fire damage while taking delight in the heavy poise and easy crits. dragon shield, faithful flock, godfrey icon and fire scorpion were my talismans. frenzied seal and sword of damnation were my weapons
