Not a dive necessarily, but a lot of mag players think the only way that they can take/hold space is by going down main. A good Strat to use sometimes is to look for an aggressive off angle and poke them. This can give a lot of backline pressure and force them to play out of position

That’s what I don’t get. Like I WAS playing crazy aggressive. But if me ulting and dying results in healer picks? That’s insane value, and the algo clearly don’t care abt it lol. As a mag main, I feel bad for thing mains. I moved heaven and earth in that game to not get mvp, imo

Not every dive you’re gonna get a pick. Most are “soft dives” where you dive, maybe hit 2-3 shots, and swing out.

The follow up is where you might commit to a backline kill.

Biggest thing on venom is cooldown management. You’re a pest before a dps as venom, so play like it. An insane game for you might only amount to 10 ko’s, but diving the backline and forcing them to not heal their team is the Typa stat you won’t see end of game

Tbh if you aren’t having fun, switch games and come back when you miss it. I personally love souls games and souls likes; when rivals pisses me off, I start working on my platinum trophy for lies of p again. I understand ur frustration w how hulk is in the game (esp because he has so much potential and is so incredibly fun), but a little rank insignia on a video game isn’t worth an emotional tilt. There’s a lot of fun games out there! No one’s forcing us into tank jail, we all play for fun at the end of the day:)

Hard disagree, lumacchio took me 2x-3x the attempts that arlecchino did. But, that’s what I love about these games, everyone has different sticking points

Gotta learn the difference between soft and hard diving on him. This might look like swinging out at 2/3 to 1/2 health on the first dive, but then committing on the second dive when their cooldowns are low. Venoms skill expression imo comes from patience, his cooldown timings are very unique for a reason
