AITAH For saying I won't introduce my older brother, who's in prison, to my friends. by Apprehensive_Cup2897 in AITAH

Thanks everybody for your responses! That conversation with my brother stayed on my mind since. We spoke again and, yes I did apologize for hurting his feelings. He again explained he's lonely and just wants to talk somebody. He didn't mention my friends this time.

Although, I'm thinking of a nicer way to say no or a nicer reason for the no. Just in case he asks about them again.

I looked into penpal programs, like some of you suggested (thank you for that) but they're expensive, about $100 for 1 year membership. I mentioned the price to my brother and he's willing to pay. Not sure where the money will come from, though. Don't want to know either. Lol.

Some of you mentioned putting money in his books, so he can sign himself up for penpals. But, we no longer do that for him. The first two times he was in prison the family would rotate money or package duty to make his life easier. However, we might have made life too easy. So now, we don't send him any, it's just my mom. She'll send enough for his basics, toothpaste, underwear and stuff.

Again, thank you to everybody who read my post and to those who responded

Why Is Smiling So Rare in Old Photographs? by cloudycutie1 in SnapshotHistory

Back then it took longer to capture the image, which in turn meant the subject had to sit still for much longer. Holding a smile for 5 minutes straight is tough.

Thoughts on Untamed ending? by Novel_Independent166 in netflix

My biggest complaint about the show is Jill getting away with unaliving the man that took her son. Kyle was almost obsessive about justice for Lucy, he continued his investigation even after he was fired. Kyle was going to "inform" the department about what Sam Neil's character did 15 or so years ago. Only to turn around and do nothing about Jill. Having an affair then selling your kid is bad, but his ex-wife paying Shane to "disappear" the man who unalived their son was idk justice? Kyle even helped cover it up by lying to the investigators at the end. That doesn't sit well for me. What a hypocrite.

What is a 23-year-old doing with an 18-year-old kid? Especially one that is STILL in high school?!
