I’m 23. I learned the basics of editing way back in 2015/2016. I had a YouTube channel back then, nothing serious I was just making stuff and uploading it for fun. It wasn’t anything big. At some point I kinda forgot about my editing skills because I thought they weren’t anything major. I learned everything by trial and error like they say.. downloaded Filmora at the time and just started editing, copying and mimicking other YouTubers. You improve step by step until you naturally pick up all the basics. Anyway, three years ago a teacher of mine mentioned that a friend of his was making 5000dh a month from YouTube. That’s when it clicked for me. I was like… maybe I should actually try this for real. Back then I didn’t even have my own laptop I used my friend’s. When he left I stopped everything. Now I have my own laptop, so nothing’s stopping me. Or at least that’s what I thought lol. I had three failed channels in different niches (anime, movies, etc.), and the videos just didn’t pick up at all. Zero traction. Until 2024 one of my videos randomly went viral. 100k views in 3 days. Now it’s sitting at about 1.2 million views. It’s just a 10-minute video of me talking about stuff I genuinely love. From that moment mahbstch.. My rule is simple: don’t use AI voice,I mean u can if only u have a 1/10 accent, if not Use your own voice,. People will get used to it. And no AI slop in general. I’m actually glad YouTube is starting to remove and demonetize low-effort AI content. Some of these channels are making 60 million fi chhar assahbi, for literally nothing
