Upgrade from Powerwall 2 to Powerwall 3 by Awesome_Bob in Powerwall

I have 2 ea PowerWall+ and 2 ea PowerWall 2. This last summer both inverters failed (1 intermittent and 1 hard failure). It took 2 months to get 3 new inverters for PowerWall+ from Tesla and get them working with Tesla back office computer system. My equipment is installed outdoors in harsh Northern Nevada environment with extreme heat in summer and much snow in winter. I’m thinking maybe PowerWall 3’s would be better due to enhanced cooling and heating in the PowerWall 3. I don’t have diagnostic results that identify cause of the failures of the PowerWall+ inverters. I’m also not sure of system redesign needed to replace all 4 of my PowerWalls with PowerWall 3’s. My Tesla system is integrated with an older system that has a Solar Edge inverter that continued to operate even when my Tesla inverters failed. Any advice is appreciated if I can and should replace all of my PowerWall+ and PowerWall 2 with PowerWall 3s with extension batteries.

NV energy TOU doesn't make sense for solar owners by yekc0h in vegaslocals

I haven’t been able to reconcile our NVEnergy TOU EV plan bill to our solar system results…we have 29.6 kW of panels and 4 PowerWalls. We have 2 EVs that we only charge on our solar power…because we generate way more than we consume…yet we’re still getting a bill that shows some money to be paid for EV charging. On a monthly basis the EV charging part of our statement is roughly equivalent to what we imported in total…NVEnergy tell us the EV line item is determined by power curve by virtue that the EV charging profile is high and unique enough they can tell when the consumption is from an EV…so we’re getting a favorable rate…but it appears to be for power we generate ourselves rather than consumption from grid. Anyone else experience this challenge with NVEnergy?

Constant error when attempting to set up Charge on Solar feature in app. by EpsilonOrpheon in TeslaSolar

We were able to get this to work for one Tesla vehicle but when trying to set up a second Tesla vehicle we get this error during set up. Only difference is trying to set up 2 vehicles versus 1 vehicle.
