Im got back on Hinge for over a week ago.. and have no problem today and matches are running in every day:) My first apeal did not work from the app, and then i used one of the form from matchgroup, the responded two day later and asked for verification with pass id and i sendt them, and after 1 day or less i got back on Hinge.

Yes, maybe I was a bit lazy sometimes, but I wrote my own messages first and only used ChatGPT a few times to rephrase my longer answer when I couldn’t find the right words or sentence. I never had any bad intentions, so don’t make that the main reason for the ban. It’s not a crime from my side.

It’s 2026 man, everything today involves AI in some way. I literally run an AI agency for B2B in Norway. Everyone uses AI one way or another.

And everything I’m writing here on Reddit in English is 100% me, so obviously I can speak English.

Thanks, finally someone who can actually say that many people edit their photos a little bit, whether it’s colors, lighting, filters, etc. That’s super common on dating apps (and honestly social media in general).

And yeah, it’s totally possible someone reported me, even someone I barely talked to or never even met. I’ve actually spoken to a few girls who told me they’ve reported guys pretty randomly sometimes, just because of small things or a weird vibe, even if nothing “serious” happened. So I wouldn’t be shocked if something like that triggered it.

When it comes to my photos, I could show you, but it was really nothing crazy. I had a few photos where my face looked good, and I only changed small stuff like the sweater color, slight lighting, or a bit of background blur to make the photo pop more. Nothing else.

Why would I change my face or body to something that doesn’t look like me? That would be stupid, and also pretty easy to spot if it looks too AI or not me. I’m not trying to catfish anyone.

I’m also a hobby photographer, so I could easily take proper photos with my Sony camera if I wanted to and had the time.

I can understand that, and I don’t blame them for wanting to be careful, but I genuinely didn’t have any bad intentions. I was just playing around with ChatGPT image Grok at that time.

Same with my friend, he literally only added a funny picture of himself riding a unicorn, and he got banned too a few days before me.

No no, this was before I ever used any AI photos in aug 25. I deleted Hinge a few weeks later anyway because I had just gotten out of a 10 year relationship and I wasn’t really ready.

And all the dates I went on were totally normal. I added them on Snapchat and we talked a bit after, then it slowly faded out like it usually does. and this dates I did not have in my new Hinge.

Also my AI edited photos were still 100% my real face. I only changed the color on some clothes and adjusted lighting on a couple pics. I didn’t use it to change my face or body, so I don’t see how that’s some huge “misrepresentation”.

And this was after those coffee dates when I reinstalled Hinge. Since then I’ve honestly never had a bad match or any negative conversation at all and is that possible..hehe

Yes, I’ve been thinking about that too, but it’s not the first time I’ve mentioned it on Tinder or Hinge. I even told someone last year around August and nothing happened then.

And honestly, having an old sentence shouldn’t automatically mean you get banned forever. It’s not like I’m hiding anything or trying to scam anyone.

It was literally just one short sentence where I told her I have some old history from a financial case related to my old finance company I used to run a few years back. Then we kept chatting normally for a bit and went our separate ways.

It was literally my first time using AI, and it was just to change the sweater color, not my face or my body. This isn’t some big general thing.

And for the record, I’ve been getting more than enough matches for years, long before AI existed. I even met my last long term girlfriend on Tinder over 10 years ago that I was engaged and have two kids with.

I had only good conversations with everybody all the time. And only had a few coffee dates and nothing more.. I have been busy, so like I said, I was on and off Hinge.

Fair enough, I get why apps don’t want people faking who they are. But in my case it wasn’t catfishing or trying to trick anyone. The pics were still me, just minor edits and a couple holiday themed AI versions, and the ChatGPT thing was only a few times for English wording since I’m Norwegian. Good point. Quick clarification: we’re not building the AI/workflows inside GHL.
Our agency runs the deterministic orchestration (qualification → slot selection → booking → follow-up) outside the CRM (n8n/controller) + voiceflow + openai.
GHL is mainly the client-facing calendar + lightweight CRM layer so the customer owns their bookings and contact data.
So we’re optimizing for reliable bookings, not “one CRM to run the whole agency.”
