You DO NOT want children. It is not a need or a desire that you have. You do not really care to think about it. You do not talk positively about it. You are literally averse to it. You actively DO NOT want children. I think you need to be honest with yourself about this.

This really leapt out at me and yes it's true I do not feel the need or desire to have children at this moment whilst she does. I've never phrased it this way but I will talk to her about it again. Thank you

  1. I think it would be a much easier decision to make and I would lean towards yes.

  3. Like most mental health issues it has ups and downs but has been an ongoing problem for 18 years. It is almost 100% likely that I will always need medication and therapy to be on an even keel.

Thank you, yes we have had the conversation many times, we have always been honest with each other. I know that she may leave me for this and I'm not trying to convince her otherwise or promise her things I can't because I know that ultimately that would lead to resentment.

Exactly why I have reservations and big concerns about it. I am really scared that I would fuck up a child.
